People are more upset with his death ruining MayRa's chances

But from Maya's character sketch so far, this was unexpected. I was hoping that they won't turn her into a murderer because there are other ways to take revenge. This is just lazy writing. Writers think they can introduce thrill by main character killing innocents.

More like killing off Subhadra's unborn child, to destroy the last person of the clan.

Agree even Maya's child got killed, but that was strategic, this was done in blind rage like Maya was in blind rage, all these years

Ikr! I couldn't pay attention to the first scene yesterday knowing that Rudra sort of paved Rishi's way road

Rishi's case is an example of how sheer stupidity might get you into extreme consequences.. I'm not supporting Maya ..Just keep aside Maya's motive for a while, we do see in real lives how teenagers tend to take extreme decisions in hasty. Same happened with Rishi. He got to know about Maya just few days before and he went on doing what she is saying to him..He didn't share any detail about her with his family. Maya used his stupidity to fulfill her revenge or what ever..

I don't mean that one's stupidity leads to their death..But unfortunately in Rishi's case it led to his death

This is I agree! He was stupid enough to believe he was Maya’s knight in shining armour.
