Even in yesterday episode when abir realized he MU mishti she came here to say something else not abt nishmish..if it was abir 1.0 will he wait till engagement?? either he could have called her or went to meet her atleast he could have messaged her..here the makers want shaddi drama yaar that is what I am frustrated

I think it's different in a way that leads after breaking up don't try to reconcile on their own usually , here in this case mishti actually believed that abir was lying and he couldn't leave her just like that , which is why she kept her ego aside and also didn't mind compromising on her self respect cuz she really wanted to give a chance, abir on the other side went into shades zone who almost gave up and left it on destiny , he decided to go with the flow , but slowly and gradually realised that he can't live life in a facade all the time....he has to come out and accept his real feelings and personality
I can see why shaheer is excited...see as a character abir is super multi dimensional , from sweet chirpy understanding, loving , caring , funny to angsty , jealous and secretive....he got all the complex emotions to play at once with a single character , so obviously he will be very excited , abir gives him an opportunity to portray everything at once ..though you have a valid point that misunderstandings looked forced and illogical at times
Now coming to your point of wait till engagement .... Abir is definitely not fighting for mishti's entitlement...his dialogue to meenu " main mishti se maafi maanguga taaki shayad vo mujhe apni zindagi main vapas aane ka mauka de " ....makes it clear, all he wants to do is to apologise and leave the rest to mishti
And in the song sequence , we do see that abir was observing mishti for a while , gathered some courage and took steps towards her but was interrupted by a random person on road , and by the time he sees again , mishti leaves .....so it's not like abir didnt try taking in personal
Now coming to the engagement tamasha...well I don't want to judge it on the basis of few seconds ka segments , in the episodes it will make much sense like it always does so let's see !
