Laxmi story could get anybody emotional, Sid getting emotional doesn't mean anything because anybody would get emotional, and shedding tears is just one way of showing sentiment ppl read too much into it

Anybody will go emotional seeing a lady who has faces such an horrible situation in her life and stood up strong

We don't know why he cried. It's a precap after all. But everyone was quite emotional so I guess she shared her story and the struggle. They are actors and they know how difficult it is to accept that you won't look the same way anymore.
