I think earlier Rudra shared about his relationship with his dad, then he saw its consequences. That's why he never encouraged his brother to share the details with their dad. But Rishi never shared with his brother also, and Rudra may not know he wants to marry this girl.

Maya who's family dead and mother who lives in her own world . there is no one to share her loneliness and her pain what she is going through

Where as

Rudra who has every one mom dad brother dadi even best friend still he left alone no one to share his pain

Damm both need each other to heal

I think Rishi would have told about Maya if she hadn't manipulated him, atleast to Rudra/Aniket(he used to trust him) because, Maya is like a dream, an aged woman, who is gorgeous at that, falling for someone like him(whom people keep calling a kid)
