Just saw the episode online (passionately dislike how the episodes bleed into the weekends these days. All that crap about Shukla and Sana clips in bed , looking at the moon etc- is time that could have been spent on showing the rest of the comedy sets of the other HMs. It’s like Salman wants as little to do as possible with the HMs on the weekends. Half the time goes in playing stupid games with the guests and the other half in whitewashing Shukla. It’s like he doesn’t want to do his job.).
About the comedy -
I thought Vishal’s humour was witty and I found him to be the best.... or even Aarti was better than Shukla (I did not like that yelling bit on Vishal in the middle.. I’ve seen yelling kind of comedy on Kapil Sharma and other strange TV shows my parents watch —- my dad watched Tarak Mehta DON’T ask 🙄 never understood that kind of humour. To make things unnecessarily tense and then make a joke about it is not comedy 🥴)..... Shukla was absolutely the worse. I’m really starting to like Vishal. I find him growing on me.
I feel the audience was handpicked from the Sidnaaz fan clubs. (I saw many Sidnaaz pages try and convince people there was no biases and the people weren’t asked who they supported but come on I doubt an Asim or Vishal fan would chant Sidnaaz the way they did in the crowd. So if not all, perhaps max number of people there were definitely Sid’s/Sana’a fans).
You could see how Shehnaaz was feeding off of the energy from that Sidnaaz crap and she got really mean spirited. I also found Mahira, Shukla and Shehnaaz irritating when they were interfering. It’s very arrogant and disrespectful and again it’s Shukla’s team so it’s allowed.. unko choot di hui hai BB ney. They really feel Like they could do anything and get away with it. Had Asim done this everyone would have shut him then and there.
Even the HMs knew that the results were unfair. Everyone else felt Aarti and Rashmi’s was the best. Rashmi even said that Shukla was interfering and Madhu chalked his win up to fan following.
Shukla is that guy at work who comes in late does the least amount of work for a project and gets away with the bonus for a job mediocrely done cause’ the boss fancies this idiot. I could see Vishal really invested a lot into his set and since he writes too, a lot of the skit was his own. Paras, Mahira also truly realized just how much bias there is. It’s the first time I felt this realization really dawning on them and the entire house as a whole. Their dismay spoke to Me and I felt it.
A little side bar for Aarti. Sid is so rude and abusive to her. Why does she suck up to him? I don’t understand. That whole scene with Shehnaaz when Aarti was eating (yet again 😅) and Shukla asked her to come sit with Sana cause’ he was annoyed listening to her bs. The way he spoke to her then and also after when she came and sat by Sana after all. Why does she not value herself enough? And then she’ll make big claims about having self respect. She doesn’t with Shukla and thusly overcompensates this lack of respect Shukla dishes her with everyone else who even slightly is cross with her when she gets into a tiff with them. This is not how she will fill that void. She needs to stand up to Shukla and remain stood...
One peculiar thing after the Aarti spat was the fact that Sana was smiling and genuinely looked like she enjoys when Shukla fights over her. This girl has so many issues man. She needs therapy badly.
Mean Spirited is how I’d describe Shehnaaz’s comedy set. She was not funny (from the previews anyway). Sana is very mean spirited. She makes a ton of brash jokes on others but she can’t handle it done to her. This is how she behaved with Himanshi outside during the entire controversial thing. (That I don’t like it series of videos she made - it was just mean spirited). All the people who laugh at this sort of mean spirited comedy won’t handle it if it happens to them but because people laugh she’s able to chalk it off as humour and continue being mean. Don’t get me wrong I’m no fan of Mahira but just the previews left me uncomfortable.. let’s see tomorrow exactly how funny Sana is.
Another preview related thought. Shehnaaz being scolded for her behaviour while I feel it’s long overdue. I also am conflicted at the timing of said scolding. Did she not do the same thing about beating herself when Himanshi came? Then why now is this such a big deal. I think it’s because she’s getting more popularity than Shukla (just like Asim).
She’s been acting this bacchi way and doing all this drama since she came in the house. Why is Salman only reacting now? From where I see it - she was over shining Shukla (even with his weird humorous side recently which just looked odd on him).
I read somewhere that Asim is going to be sent to the secret room (I really don’t know why or if it’s true).
