kaira dont really represent modern relationships they would like to think by young actors playing lead roles they are showing a progressive show...

its not its regressive and badly written

there was a time when kaira was progressive

it was not progressive in their first divorce for ma ka dard

nor was it in their second divorce for vedika's zindagi

what could have been interesting is yeh rishta kya khelata hai of them living in sin...and showing us how society views people who do...and eventually conforming not because of some bullshit the only way to have sex is if we are married... but because... of their families

Neither Karthik or Naira respect the sanctity of marriage so seeing them remarry for the 100th time is a joke. It's become a very regressive and poorly written show.

It might sound bad but the only reason they need to get married is to sleep with each other. They have been shown sharing a bed in the separation phase (technically they weren’t divorced but Kartik was married to Vedika), they get as close to each other as possible, for example, during their sangeet performance Naira was laying on top of Kartik, he kissed her waist, etc.

They share the emotional connection that partners have. They consider each other’s families as their own. They even have a child now.

What else happens between a married couple which they don’t already do? 😂

They don’t respect the sanctity of marriage or the vows anyways. So why get married when they can do everything without it as well? 😂

I am not saying any of this in a negative way. Genuinely wonder what’s the point left of marrying the third time when you didn’t respect it the first two time’s?
