I don't think they should be considered something that pull her down, fighting them is important yes, but because they cause mental distress and not because it's a weakness that ruins her, or something that she should be ashamed of

We are talking in terms of its effects on her ability to face her opponents. It does affect her. Had she not fallen in the pit she would have ended Ankit on her own.

Acknowledging a weakness is not something to be ashamed about. Factoring it in while making plans is the solution
