He walked in wearing the garb of a gentleman - both physically and personality-wise. And over the season, the garb was quickly shed to reveal a gandagi ka box - both physically and personality-wise.
Waise toh so many shitty facets of his personality can be discussed - but what stands out to me as the absolute worst, is his utter lack of respect for others. Their POV, their words - just them. The way he treats other people, the way he talks to them - his entire demeanor towards others - it’s despicable. He’s made a lifestyle of putting others down - and he’s proud of it.
The narcissism, passive aggressiveness, overt violence, insecurity, immaturity, belittlement, the utter lack of control, the self-entitled superiority complex, and the misogyny - gosh, I suppose it takes some talent to be this vile and weak. Yes - I said weak. Because a man who - despite so much bias and assurance from the makers, who ensure everything is in his favour and his ride is smooth, and after continuous sycophancy and praise, and zero bashing - is still so insecure and lacks complete control - gets triggered on anything and everything - is weak.
And funny enough - at this point, in spite of all the above, what’s worse is his lack of hygiene and presentability - he appears onscreen and I’m repulsed.
Just goes to show - it’s not just the cover that can be misleading - sometimes it’s the first chapter too. Just as Shukla’s gentlemanly act was for the first 10 days or so of this season - where I thought he was entirely supportable.
He’ll win - sure - the makers don’t invest in such nastiness if they’re not gonna see it through IMO - but it makes no difference in the grand scheme of things. To those that support him, or those that dislike him. Because who and what he is - is out in the open for all to see.
