Will Kunal ever take personal responsibility?

It’s probably a futile point to raise here since people view these characters through diametrically opposite lenses across the board 😆

I’m neither a Shaheer nor Ritvik fan to color my views on Abir or Kunal though those lenses.

The fundamental point at stake in this story is the way Kunal manages to shirk personal responsibility for his actions every single time. For so long, Abir made excuses for Kunal’s pathetically self absorbed and mannerless behavior, claiming it was all thanks to Meenu.

And now, when for once, Abir is genuinely disgusted enough with Kunal for his cowardice, when Abir is finally managing to acknowledge his brother’s fundamentally wrong behavior, instead of making this about KUNAL taking responsibility for his behavior, this again falls on ABIR? 😆

After learning such a huge thing, after giving Kunal another last opportunity to confess to his crime, and watching his brother LIE to him again, still Abir is expected to not even feel disgusted with him? 😆 He should instantly jump to “guiding Kunal”? Bhai waah, sant aatma toh hai nahin😆

The underlying tragedy will remain the same. First Abir made excuses for Kunal’s pathetic actions for so long and now others in the audience do the same. At this rate he will never take responsibility for his actions....there will be always a ready excuse ki oh Meenu manipulated him 🙄 or Abir didn’t guide him enough 🙄

How old is this guy again? isn’t he running a business on his own? But personal responsibility is beyond him and needs to be spoon fed to him by his older brother? 🤔. Interesting 😆

Nice post 👏

It's high time for kunal to take responsibility of his own actions.

He's running business, he's not a child just because everyone calls him nanko

I hope he realizes his mistakes Now

@bold: Exactly. High time everyone stops treating him like a child and making excuses for his actions.

If this is the jolt he needed - to be disowned by Abir, then so be it. If he can finally grow up a bit, then there could be some point to all this.

And I’m not saying Abir has not made any mistakes. He’s also been weak at many points, but unlike Kunal, he atleast acknowledged his own mistakes many times. Kunal has been spoilt rotten.

Mishti was right. Abir’s only mistake is that he loved his brother too much and lost almost all for him. This is his downfall. He loves too much, believes too much in the wrong people and they let him down.

He was bang on when he said he feels like the biggest fool in all this. This is what Kunal and his psycho mom have brought him to.

kunal or meenu will never take responsibility or be repimanded

why meenu and kunal even mishti will never be reprimanded for her mahan acts

i know she has jhello enough

but its not necessary for her to realise her haldi kand was wrong or to sacrifice for kuhu happiness was wroong or alone becomeing superwoman for baba was wrong or trusting meenu was even wrong

i would not blame her if she just not knly told kunal truth to abir but told other truth as telling kunal truth was never her thing it was always meepu thing

neither i will blame on how she revealed on birthday

atleast mishti wear tthe consequence but meenu kunal they not even have to go through anything

and for kuhu she atleast realised her mistake and got taught from her mistake and now has become a better person

IN THIS WHOLE SERIAL ABIR CHARACTER IS STILL BEARABLE BECAUSE HE OWN UP HIS MISTAKE FOR WHATEVER HE DO WRONG IN HIS EYES AND TRY TO RECONCILE EVEN AND IN THE PROCESS HAS TO RECEIVE HUMILIATION

MISHTI GET HUMILIATION FOR UNNECESSARY THING AND GET GOLD MEDAL FOR THOSE THING WHICH SHOULD BE REPRIMANDED

ABIR GET HUMILIATION OR BERATING FOR HIS OWN MISTAKE

anyway as you r talking about fandow then tell me why fandom is blaming bp and nannu

nannu toh i understand but bp

what mistake he done to get such hate

everyone is saying that he should ask mishti to focus on career then what he done with sending her to london

everyone is saying he should have understood abir and is comparing him to meenu what a father would do when abir insult and physically hurt her and meenu he know what she is capable to do and even has threatened him

what a father would do when he first said yes for mishbir solely because of abir but he failed and he knows he will fail again

what a father could do who knows how his dowught is selfless and mahan and a abla nari

why fandom demand from kunal to become cupid if he is such a ...

Words 👏👏

It was really needed, getting disowned by abir, this would make him realize what a grave mistake he has done.

Bold - sad but true 😒,abir's biggest mistake was that he loved his brother UNCONDITIONALLY, and covers up all his mistake like a father spoil his child, but now he has taken the role of that father who wants his child to be responsible and this is the best way of kunal redemption

We can only hope. For once, Kunal looked devastated and hurt rather than looking to blame and hate Mishti like he did whenever Abir tried to correct him in the past.

Fundamentally, Kunal is a self absorbed coward. It will take some courage for him to begin to own up to his behavior. I guess he loves Abir in his own way so maybe that love for his brother will save him eventually. What Kunal actually needs to learn is empathy. To look beyond himself and truly understand his brother’s happiness.

The best thing happened with kunal was that he realised that he was used by meenu for all this ...for kunal to grow as a person he needs to realise that he was nothing but a puppet to execute meenu's plans , while meenu made him believe that he was doing all this for his brother/ family, abir today very directly pointed out that he is not doing anything for bhai like he believes so but he is actually doing it for meenu

Kunal has to realise that he can't keep hurting others in the name of the family that he doesn't have to prove his love and care for the family by agreeing to fulfill meenu's demands

M sure with time , things will turn out, he was already on the right path finding proofs n all , m sure with more time on hand , he would have even gathered the courage to tell the truth , the confrontation happened so quickly that kunal had nothing to say ....

M sure he will man up and abinal bond will grow from here

@adni ...I do agree with your views as well

I have observed that the narrative is such that it always points out the mistakes by RV bros and highlights their faults but when it comes to mistakes committed by mahs girls , their mistakes are brushed under the carpet of sympathy...

Kuhu though she has grown to be a better person...but her kaands were never called out , mishti's constant lying and fighting on her own in the jungle during baba track ...BP didnt even say that it was dangerous you shouldn't have taken the risk...in fact they were celebrating mishti's bahadurismiley37

And then that jungle accident...see that was wrong...what if that day rains didnt come ?...Mishbir could have been in serious danger....who would have been responsible in that case ?

..nishant did realise also that it was so wrong and he was stressed but mishti didnt even realise that what blunder she did ...then they both didn't even apologise to abir smiley36smiley36 for this...smiley37 That's not fair....n actually because of seeing abir in danger in that TV news , benba planned to spike nishant's drink

Not blaming anyone or defending ...but the narrative makes us believe that RVs are black are mahs are white but actually both are grey

Both are circumstantial victims but only but RVs are called out and mahs get sympathy saying their intentions are pure ....so one side more bad than another ...but in reality sab ek hi thaali ke chatte batte hain smiley37

See every action has equal and opposite reaction...reactions come on the basis of actions and not intentions

That’s a basic ethics lesson Kunal needs to learn then. Yes, he has been a puppet in Meenu’s hands but he’s crossed the line in many other ways even when Meenu wasn’t putting words in his mouth. I quite remember his disgusting behavior with Mishti in the GD confrontation as well....which he is yet to realize or apologize for since he was too busy being jealous of Abir’s love for her.

So let’s see if he can finally manage some real self introspection about the kind of person he wants to be beyond this childish and self-absorbed love he has for his brother.

Would he have really told the truth on his own to Abir? I think he would have been too scared of Abir’s rightful disgust with him to be able to tell the truth. It was clear in this scene too coz Abir gave him a chance to tell the truth but he lied again cuz he didn’t want his image to be spoilt with Abir.

I also wonder if Kunal would have reacted differently if Abir’s anger had been to defend Mishti rather than this Nishant issue. Maybe Kunal wouldn’t have even felt guilt then. He’s always been blindly jealous of Mishti cuz he resents that she also has Abir’s love and affection. Kunal is fundamentally insecure about Abir. So it was helpful in this case that the issue wasn’t about Mishti and that is why Kunal listened 🤷‍♀️😂

LMAO never enjoyed reading a post on india forums as much as this one. You made way too much sense with your points 😆 Kunal will forever be protected and will never really grown up for the reasons you mentioned.
