Part 9
Its been a week raman has gone, ishita was sitting in her room thinking about life. Romi and simmi has left for Mumbai while she is all alone because mr and mrs bhalla are so engrossed in their life that they have not any time for ishita. Neelu takes care of ishita needs as raman has personally advised her.
Ishita looks ather phone and thinks: raman ka koi message bhi nhe aya.Wo theek hongay?? She couldn’t stop herself to worry for her namesake husband. She was sitting lost when neelu comes and informs ishita that mihir has arrived and he wants to meet ishita. Ishita nods and gets up to meet mihir
Mihir happily greets ishita and says: Bhabhi are you fine. Ghar pay ap akeli hain uncle aunty kahan hai. Raman ko gaye hue week hogaya to socha aik dafa yahan dekh loon sab theek hai. After all boss kay order jo thy to keep him informed about every details.
Ishita looks at mihir and mentally notes that raman must be fine and he has asked mihir to check here. She politely smiles and answers him: I am fine mihir. Mummy jee papa jee has gone for shopping.
Mihir: per apko aise akele nhe choorna chahiye tha unhain.
Ishita shook her head at the irony of her fate that everyone has left her alone her own parents has also abandon her. She wipes her tear from corner of her eyes and ask mihir to sit she will ask neelu to make refreshments . mihir refuses and leaves stating that he has some work.
Ishita again left alone in the big mansion she slowly walks towards her room and touches her flat tummy and says: baby please you don’t leave you mumma ever warna shayad mein mar jaon. Her eyes welled up with fresh tears. She lays on bed and closes her eyes to rest.
It was time for dinner neelu brought the dinner in ishita room and ask her to eat ishita denies that she is not feeling to have the food. Neelu again insist but ishita refuse and ask her to leave she will have dinner after some time.
Otherside, mihir was working on laptop when his phone ring she takes the call and greet raman. Raman asks: mihir tu ghar gaya tha sab theek hai wahan
Mihir: raman sab theek hai. Uncle aunty shopping pay gaye hye thy Bhabhi ghar pay thi.
Raman: she was alone at home and you are saying that everything is fine
Mihir: raman..
Raman: she was fine??
Mihir: wesy to Bhabhi theek thi per thori udass thi.
Raman: acha theek hai mihir. I have to rush for meeting
Mihir: good bye.
Raman cuts the calland was about to leave for meeting but stops and dials ishita number reluctantly. Ishita was lost in thoughts her phone ring break her chain of thoughts. She looks at caller id it was unknown number. She ignores it till it got disconnected. After some time her phone again rings, she take thecall and says: hello…
Listening to her voice raman feels relax. He took a moment to react while ishita asks: whose there. Raman replies: how are you ishita?
Ishita was taken aback with sudden question she hasn’t recognized him. She was silent raman realize that she doesn’t know that its him so he introduce himself: ishita … mein raman baat kar rahahoon
Ishita was surprised that raman has called her. She says: I am sorry meine pehchana nhe.
Raman: its okay ishita.
Ishita humms in response not know what to say next.
Raman: you haven’t answered my question ishita
Ishita: which question?
Raman: how are you?
Ishita eyes welled up with tears as raman ask about her wellbeing. She replies: I am fine
Raman reluctantly asks: and baby?
He bites his lip realizing the slip of his tongue while raman question again surprises ishita that he slightly cares for her and baby.
Ishita: baby bhi theek hai. Ap kaise hain? With a smile.
Raman : I am perfectly fine. Have you eaten your dinner.
Ishita looks at the untouched food. She was thinking should she lie to raman. Raman realize her silence and says: you haven’t eaten dinner??
Ishita was amazed with raman: wo.. bhook nhe thi.
Raman: finish your dinner and take care of yourself and baby. I have a meeting.
Ishita: okay. Ap bhi apna khayal rakhna.
Raman ends call while ishita was feeling light after talking to raman she takes the plate filled with food and start having it.
Next day
Raman was sleeping peacefully. His phone rings as it was a reminder he droopily looks at reminder and jumps on the bed as he realize that today is ishita appointment with doctor. He immediately calls ishita who was busy in folding cloths. She gets surprised seeing raman calling. She takes the call and says: hello raman..
Raman: whats time ishita
Ishita looks at watch and says: its 12 pm raman
Raman: you have to rush ishita. Today is your appointment with doctor at 1 pm.
Ishita: muje to nhe pata tha
Raman: ab bata diyahai na chalo jaldi karo. Haan akele mat jana neelu ko saath lay jana
Ishita: okay.
Raman yawns as he was still sleepy.
Ishita: thank youraman and sorry apki neend disturb hui
Raman: that’s no issue. Bye.
He cuts the call and again closes his eyes to sleep. While ishita gets resdy and leave for doctor appointment. Doctor examine her and tells that she is doing good and baby is growing. Doctor ask her to come after month. She return home and was thinking whether to tell raman about doctor or not.
Ishita thinks: batana to banta hai kiya pata wo wait kar rahy hoon.. ishu to pagal hai wo to so gaye hongay. Lekin message karne mein kiya jata hai.haan aik message kar deti hoon. She types message and send it to raman.
Raman phone beeps. He opens his eyes as he was not getting sleep. He reads the message and smile that ishita and baby both are fine. He mentally notes that her next appointment is month after. He replies: great with a smiley face.
Ishita looks at his reply and thinks: wo tab say jag rhy thy kiya? She smiles and start walking to her room. While raman closes his eyes and drifted into deep slumber. Toshi jee comes in the way of ishita and asks: puttar kahan gayi thi
Ishita: doctor kay pass
Toshi jee: bacha theek hai?
Ishita looks at her mother in law and nods
Toshi jee: agli baar mein chalongi tere saath
Ishita leaves without replying to toshi jee. Soon days start passing. Mihir regularly comes bhalla house while it has become the routine for raman and ishita to have daily talk although their talks were limited to ask about wellbeing only.
One day ishita return home from temple and sees two stranger sitting there and enjoying food while no one was at home except servants. Ishita looks at neelu and ask about them. Neelu replies that they are raman friend ashok and param.
Ishita was getting conscous with the way both were looking at her she was not liking it. Ashok stands up and moves towards ishita and says: myself ashok Khanna.. he tries to held ishita hand but ishita moves back.
Ashok: actually meri jacket raman kay room mein hai wo lene aye thy.
Ishita hurriedly walks to her room. While param and ashok were devilishly grinning. They moves to raman room and takes their jacket and leaves…
