Firstly Rudra isn't thinking straight now.. more importantly he and Maya hasn't confessed their feelings.. the kiss was a impulsive moment for both.. neither Maya wants anything over revenge and not Rudra wants to fall in love again..

This decision is pressure down the growing feelings by settling down with a friend he knows and understands.. but this will increase the feeling now for both him and Maya.. relax guys.. the show is long so they have to twist and turn
