Arts students must be learning certain skills that other stream students don't.. like one I can think of is how amazing you guys are with lit, writing, vocabs.. wo har kisi ke bass ki baat nahi hai na..aisa aur bhi bhaut kuch hoga that unfortunately m not aware of.

but will that fetch us a job that we aim for? Unfortunately no it won't as we score so low. No prestigious university would like to have us because we don't reach the cut off and even if we do reservation let's it impossible to even make it. On top of it arts stream do not have any placement any where, very very very rarely we do. I haven't heard of any in Kolkata or Odisa and neighbouring states. Even Andhra too.

You know the saddest part? We can't even appear for net majority of the times as the highest marks that we get do not reach the cutoff.(as if you qualify net it helps you to take college service commission test aka lectureship also for PhD.) As a result we often have to change our subject and spend another two years if we really want to be a professor. Fortunately I love Psychology, but what about those who just like the subject? 99% end up doing b.ed to be a teacher. Or else some after graduation go into private professional courses to have better job opportunities.

Anyway no more comments on this. My pm is open.
