The number Barkha posted was not a Congress members. he was a vendor which congress hired for crowdfunding during the election. Congress or any other party hire a number of outsiders during the election.

@bold: is that after 7 pm when large mob started attacking students in hostels? There is one clip where JNSU president was with people with hoddies but it was day video and and she clearly said they were ABVP and as a president, she was solving problems between two groups. As I said earlier left members might have also involved in a scuffle earlier that day but what happened at night was one-sided attack. If you just see how badly JNSU president got beaten up, if you see the names of students whose hostel rooms are vandalized (Kashmiris/muslims and left wing students) you would get a clear idea who are the culprits and which ideaology they belong to. There were many eye witnesses who claimed that these mob were shouting slogans like 'RSS jai ho' and "desh ke gaddaron ko goli Maron salon ko". Which group has this ideology, ABVP or left-wing?

This guy Pinki Choudhary (Hindu Raksha Dal) has taken responsibility that he carried out this violence. How do you explain that? Will ABVP help him of left-wing?
