I dont think she will have an issue. Having a 39 years old unmarried son who is difficult in relationships make u more realistic. Plus I saw her one iv from his visit to Vietnam where she said that she will not have any issue with his choice if he is okay with her. Rest she will train her. Sthg on same lines
