He hasn't told aryan. Aryan hasn't got a clue, in fact ranbir barely pays any importance to it to realise he should come clear to at least aryan about it.

OK good job ranbir got to know he didn't propose prachi, so he won't be living under the misunderstanding that he proposed and she said yes.
