They weren’t plotting to break their group or break RaSim by playing into their emotions.

Sid was askinh paras and mahira why did they point out to asim that he was abusing because asim quickly stopped realizing thy he was wrong.

Sid was askinh them not to stop these people from saying ..

Whereas the main agenda of Rasim gang is break Arti away from their group by shifting on to arti bed and instigate Sana against Sid saying he’s favoring mahira ..

this is all they can do ..

Sid trues his best to keep his team together and make them united and the other group wants to break the opposite group .

Haan kyu ki other grp wants how to break opposite group. And Sid wants his grp should remain intact. No fighting within. So he asked paras to sort our issue, bcz he knows sana will listen to paras. And in episode also you can see that worked.

So it's definately strategy.
