Also I feel, Maya sees a bit of herself in both Rishi and Rudra. In Rishi she sees the innocence and naivety she had once upon a time. In Rudra, she sees the pain and agony of loss and bitter experience. Since she is able to relate to both in her own ways, she knows how they need to be dealt.

What I want to know, is how will she break Rishi's heart? Using Rudra? And after Rishi's heartbreak, will Rudra want to still be with Maya? I feel Maya is falling in her own trap with Rudra, by falling for him. Will this love be the strength she will need to enter the Roy family and face her worst nemesis - Mrityunjay? How will all this play out?

I loved the part when you said Maya sees herself in both Rudra and Rishi. I feel the same.👏

Will she be able to break Rishi's heart? It's yet to be seen. And I am still not sure if she's falling for Rudra. Why do I feel it's a part of her plan? In the beginning, she wanted to trap Rishi with love and Rudra with hatred. But the lines of love and hatred are merging with both the equations. Rishi also had issues with Maya, and he will continue to have issues with her. Rudra is already falling for her. I don't think Maya's planning is so fragile that she'd let herself fall for Rudra so easily. And the whole point of Maya falling for Rudra would be pointless coz this is all about BeyHadh hatred, she's filled only with hatred.

The scene with her Mom was significant, coz I guess it garnered the beginnings of sympathy in our minds for Maya. She's got a void in her that's full of hatred. And hatred only further creates a void. It never completes you.

And here Maya seems to be making advances towards Rudra. I think it's to alienate him from Ananya, coz she's his moral compass who brings him back to earth. Let's see though.

@ libran: That's just it naa. Today Rishi joined Ruan Publications and changed the game that Maya had planned out for so long. That's the problem with plans. They look great on paper, but rarely do they translate as such in real life. Whether it is revenge, life, or even business related, no plan is ever going to translate 100% as written out. I work in commercial real estate and I have yet to see a construction plan be perfectly and meticulously planned out and translated in real life as such. Either there will be cost overruns or buyers drop off or a delay because of something or the other. Heck, even the weather (something completely out of our hands) could ruin a good plan.

That's what happened with Maya today. Her plan went off course with Rishi entering Ruan Publications. One thing though, Rishi is a true keeper of his words. Even after facing Maya like this, he did not say a word. Not a peep about her. He indirectly taunted her, but only she knew about it. To anyone else, it would appear like something simple. He's also smarter than anyone gives him credit for. As soon as he saw Maya and Rudra told him about her, he put 2 and 2 together rather well.

But it wasn't just with Rishi. Her plan went slightly off track with Rudra as well. She provided him a story, tried to get in his head, and instead she ended up revealing herself to him. I'm more and more convinced that the first 2 chapters of her book are about her and her plan so far, indirectly. The fact that Rudra saw through that and saw the innocent, naive, and light Maya surprised her to the extent that she revealed her true story to him almost. And even though Maya made it sound like a character, Rudra saw through it and realized it was a real person.

@ Antara and libran: You know one other thing that struck me was that Rudra and Maya both got deceived in love and both don't think they can love again. That's why they are so struck by each other. Maya can plan all she wants and try to use Rudra's jealousy against him all she wants, but she is just as enamoured by him as he by her. She just manages to hide it better than him. But then again, he believes in the truth, so why not show his emotions openly as well?

I'm not going to comment on the printer room sequence. Leave it as is. It was good. It was interesting. It was the first sign that both are falling for each other.

I didn't mean for this to become my analysis of today, but I was watching live for the first time and I saw your replies and this ended up becoming both my reply and analysis combined.

Wish you a great New Year's Eve Shreya!

The one thing that struck me from day 1 was the similarity between Rudra and Maya. Yeah, you are right about the betrayal that they faced in life.

Idk if you knew the show Dil Sambhal Jaa Zara, one idea they projected was Dard Dard ko milata hai, which in essence, is two broken people find togetherness in their brokenness. Which is quite different from ITV's idea of one person (typically the male) being the broken one while the other heals the guy/girl. Love isn't always about healing. It's also about revelling in the pain with each other, knowing that there's one person who's drowning as much as us with no hopes makes it easier to cope.

A very Happy New Year Antara!

I read about the show, never watched it. But it is true. Two broken people can find happiness together because they can understand each other's pain and help each other to find happiness despite the pain.

I do get that plans do not always translate into reality as 100%. But what is surprising is Maya does not take into consideration these glitches. She does not anticipate these speed bumps? Even after 8 years of planning, it comes across as very stupid.

But could she have taken them into consideration? The whole point of surprises and glitches is that they are not considered. Maya has taken into consideration some glitches. When Rudra refused to sign her on as an investor, she seemed to have taken that into consideration and had a response to it. But could she really have considered human reaction? I go back to my role simply because I'm in a place where I have to consider all sorts of risks. It's my role. It's also my nature. I always look to see what can go wrong. But the one thing that I cannot consider is human reaction. When I'm planning vacations, I consider everything that can go wrong: flight delay, luggage lost, places we want to see are closed, etc. But what about the human reaction to that - flight delay could mean some people will just accept it and others will go crazy. Or what if I meet someone especially unhelpful at the luggage lost counter. Etc. For all her intelligence, Maya can't consider all the human reactions. She and Rajiv probably understood how Rudra and Rishi could react, they probably know how MJ will react, but they didn't consider that it's all based on their current interactions. I mean, if they had considered it, then wouldn't Maya have considered her visceral reaction to MJ?

That's what happened with Maya today. Her plan went off course with Rishi entering Ruan Publications. One thing though, Rishi is a true keeper of his words. Even after facing Maya like this, he did not say a word. Not a peep about her. He indirectly taunted her, but only she knew about it. To anyone else, it would appear like something simple. I agree with your point here. Maya in pushing for her game has not considered how unpredictable both Roybros are.

@ Antara and libran: You know one other thing that struck me was that Rudra and Maya both got deceived in love and both don't think they can love again. That's why they are so struck by each other. But then again, he believes in the truth, so why not show his emotions openly as well?

Agreed. Going by the new promo, Rudra was hesitant but Maya looked almost on the verge of giving into him. Maya who is repulsed by Roy's touch was giving into a kiss with Rudra. That was Maya's heart talking. But I am sure when Rudra will back off out of his confusion, Maya will be left confused because she will realize that her heart is talking more than her mind. So she may back off and revert to her former self with Rudra, which will drive him insane. He will have to come to terms with what he wants if he wants Maya in his life or not.

Maya is really playing on the edge here. Even based on the new promo, she seems to be pushing the limits both for herself and Rudra. She wants to see how far Rudra can go. And I believe, like you, that Rudra will back off. Just before they kiss, he will come to his senses and back off because that's who he is. He doesn't know Maya well enough yet, he doesn't want her to affect him, and he definitely doesn't want to let her break past his barriers yet. When the two do kiss though, it'll be a confirmation of love from both sides. Maya won't just be doing it to get on Rudra's nerves and Rudra will do it because he truly loves Maya.

I'm not going to comment on the printer room sequence. Leave it as is. It was good. It was interesting. It was the first sign that both are falling for each other.

True.

Happy New Year Shreya🤗

I loved yesterdays episode coz it was some amazingly creative writing.

Rudra and Maya revealing each other's intentions while discussing a fable had me amazed at how well they understand each other. Maya was genuinely impressed. It was quite revealing to see how honest Maya was with Rudra showing another part of her past self though she tried to deflect saying this isn't the Maya he is looking for. Him constantly offering hope and insisting for a happy ending had me chuckling. Oh Maya, this man isn't going to be easy for you to get rid of🤣

I agree with you the printer scene was perfect. I did put a symbolic interpretation in Librans post - putting hand imprint on ones house is a symbol of new beginning, good fortune, prosperity, etc.

Rishi and Rudra dialogue regarding Maya was equally revealing. Rishi showed genuine hurt at Maya lying and Maya seemed shaken.

Tbh I will be upset if Maya isn't shown having anticipated Rishi at RuAn knowing his real nature of escapism. Rudra saying She isn't your type to Rishi was so spot on. Maya is way too evolved for Rishi. It was quite symbolic watching her move behind Rudra to hide herself and Rudra stopping Rishi from touching Maya. He was quite the shield but Maya knows the day he finds out the truth she will lose his trust. Will be interesting to see.

Interesting thread 😊 loved reading the comments here. From yesterday's episode it is now clear that the one who Maya loved betrayed her. Of course that was implied from the beginning but then a couple of days ago we saw how Maya was familiar with the entire Roy household including the people who worked for MJ. So there I got confused thinking maybe MJ killed Maya's lover and later tried to kill her. But now I feel it was MJ Maya loved. Then in this case how can Maya's revenge be entirely justified? She made the first wrong move by falling for a married man, no matter what he might have told Maya. This also explains y Maya's dad and Manas are not with Maya anymore. Maybe they disapproved of Maya having an affair with a married man and left her coz they were disappointed with her? No matter what her reasons are, she is wrong to play with Rudra and Rishi's feelings, especially the latter given he is smitten by her. Rishi might be an arrogant brat who loves to live off his dad's money, likes to flirt with girls etc. But this gives Maya no excuse to toy with Rishi's feelings. He must have been a little boy when that incident happened with her. He is in no way related to Maya. So y target him? Even in today's episode she assaults Rajeev just coz he did something that might work against her. What was he supposed to do when he was being attacked by MJ? I wish Maya wouldn't target innocent people to avenge what happened with her a decade ago.

Jan 1st, 2020 - Light on Symbolism

Firstly, Happy New Year everyone!

Secondly, a good episode, though kind of light on the symbolism in my opinion.

Rajiv's kidnapping - With Rajiv's kidnapping, I expected him to say something, but today he proved that being with Maya is not just for his benefit. He truly cares about her and wants her to succeed even if it hurts him. Despite being scared of MJ, he turned off his phone so that Maya's calls wouldn't be seen or heard by MJ. He yelled, but her name never came to his mouth. I don't know what he told MJ and, honestly, at this time I don't care because one thing is certain - he didn't say anything about Maya to MJ. Because even when he told Maya what happened, he said sorry about having to sign something, not about naming her. Truly, Maya would be nowhere without the 3 Rs. Each is protecting her in their own way. They are the pawns, the elephants, the knights to the queen. But it was nice to see that Maya cares about Rajiv as well. Both when she was phoning him and then when she saw his condition, the concern was etched on her face. I feel like hitting that bottle over his head was also part of the plan. But I wonder what. This show is not as predictable as one would think.

Iss baar agar Rudra aur MJ ke beech kuch hogaya naa toh woh aakhri baar hoga - So true Antara, so true. She knows both are strong-headed individuals and if they both ever face-off again, then it'll be the one and last time. Either one will finish the other, the two will join hands, or both will die. But it'll be the ultimate battle.

Maya's explanation to Rishi - It was set-up perfectly to make Rishi feel like the hero once again. And a reminder that he needs to keep his mouth shut. Of course, she also told him the truth - my revenge would be incomplete. But Rishi, being Rishi, only saw the part that was important to him - he's a hero. Maya may not have planned for Rishi to show up at Ruan Publications, but she had the idea in the back of her head. And though she had needed Rajiv initially to assist, his not being there forced her to change the game a bit. It goes to show that without Rajiv her game is incomplete, but even when Rajiv isn't there, she will find a way to complete her plans.

For me todays episode was something else and a kind of a continuity of events from yesterday..

Firstly MayRa story played yesterday and today spoke volumes.. first Rudra asked her what happened in the past.. he meant the character but it was actually her only.. she told her story in a gist and for Rudra he unconsciously believes that it is her only.. he does ask her if her prince charming comes back again in her life.. he subconsciously wants to tend to her wounds with his love but when she questioned him back directly if he can love again.. he came back to saying not me the character.. they want to discuss this through the character only.. Rudra has started living the story of Maya already..

Finally maya after trying to push Rudra attraction, ended up falling over him and printing their hands together.. their hands again was the left of Maya and right of Rudra.. just the hands we put wedding rings in.. they will fall in love and probably marry as well

When Rishi came, Rudra stood between them and did not allow his hand to her even.. here for me rishi is MJ and Rudra will eventually stand between them and wont let MJ to get to her.. but today Rudra hit the glass wall while trying to reach Maya.. his blind love will hit the road block, which is the truth of Maya.. Today Rishi was that truth of Maya..

It's to see how Rudra will handle the truth of Maya.. if it goes back to yesterday episode where she gave the gist , he will become the prince charming she desired..

Rishi today.. Maya made him believe that everything is in his control only.. Rishi wanted that control and he got influenced easily.. but I believe that Rishi will either be destroyed completely in this game or he will become another MJ and destroy Maya..

Rajiv did not speak about Maya for sure.. he probably signed to take away the investor thing from Ruan.. and doing that the problem is that Ruan know that the investor is Maya and this wont do any harm to them.. so MJ is bound to know that Ruan hasn't got affected.. Rajeev wouldn't give his life for Maya or fight MJ.. he is weak that way.. he could only help where it comes to getting information

Now Maya needs to fast track her plan with Rudra and get him on her side as soon as possible
