I want to add something more. Along with the pressure, there's some assurance that comes with being from a particular family. An outsider might not get any chance after his first flop or may be two, being from a privileged family will increase those chances and I don't even need to name those who have been surviving in the industry only because of nepotism.

Yup it was on my mind to add about "Chances". It's the wider access and multiple chances which makes it easy for them.

Abhishek is one such curious case. He has done really good work but still didn't make it big. The baggage of being the AB son was too much to carry. It's other thing if people hold the view that he is not a good actor.

Nepo kids, here is an idea for a better response:

I understand I'm privileged and am thankful for the opportunities. I will do my best to justify them. I will still go after every role I believe I can do justice to with everything I have. And I'm very much in awe of the outsiders who made it without the support system I had.

From a young age these insider kids are mocked in schools for their parents kartoot, be it personal or professional... They get mocked when their father/mother extramarital affairs or other shits... If they take the brunt for their parents bad deeds why not take the fruits of their good work too..

Kangana went on koffee with Karan to promote Rangoon ( a film for which she got the most money btw and it was historic flop) I think to distract people from its failure she started whining about nepotism ruining her career. But you tell when she was the highest paid then what has nepotism even done to derail her ???

Actresses generally are not mocked per se for big flops...Bhumi wasnt mocked for Sonchiriya, Sush was...and let's not get into the Arjun zone...even Sid's Vikram batra biopic faced finance issues and Dharma had to step in but i have never heard of Arjun's films getting shelved
