Could I be honest? Apart from Article 15, I have watched all the above mentioned movies, and liked them all. But while I was thinking about the movie he has acted his best, I somehow ended up realising that he has acted almost same in each one of them. My personal fav is Vicky Donor which is not mentioned in the list and Dream Girl is "almost" same as VD, even some scenes look totally similar. I think as much as he's been very sensible and lucky with his filmography, his acting is almost 1-D. Anyhow, I can go on and on with my ranting.

Ps I have heard he has acted good and different from his previous genre of movies in Article 15, my views might change after watching it.

PPS Voting for others-Vicky Donor, for some entirely different reason. From the list, my personal favs are Andhadun and Badhai Ho.

I think a lot of people agree with the fact that he's been acting similar in most of his movies. But I think that's less due to his acting capabilities and more to do with the kind of scripts he's been offered. Most of these scripts deal with a man on the fringes, or a man slighted by society, or a man trying to reform society. Only Andadhun I feel was path-breaking because it allowed his acting potential to really shine through.

Personally, I think he's a very good actor - just needs to experiment more organically and break out of the mould of comedies with a social message. Also, I loved him in Meri Pyaari Bindu. He played a romantic role for the first time, and also the role required lot of pathos and heartbreak, which he exemplified beautifully.
