We as a frnd do the same thing right.mif a frnd is going through a heart break specially wen their partners have cheated on them we don't tell them to patch up or keep sulking..even we say move on...for Anurag prerna's husband is a jerk who left his pregnant wife n has moved on with some other women...he should have convinced her first before getting or even thinking about getting her married but then we know he will take the Ulta route and will try to convince her once she will say no.....

Pre getting angry with him is justified but at the same time she knows it's bcoz of his care n concern for her that he can't really back off n she her in pain....

He doesn't know the truth and thinking the best for her plus whatever ppl are talking about Prerna's character he just can't stand that...he is always there for her n that's wat he promised to her but since he is married to someone else he knows that there are certain boundaries which if he will cross then Prerna will have to bear the repercussions....

And lastly jis tarha present Anu apni (so called) biwi ki baton main arha hai. Sad to say but i miss that old and sharp minded Anu. Wo kahin khogya. I hope he come back to his best very soon!

I agree with whatever you have written Vani... Moreover, the abysmal rating the Show became subject to in the last track rushed scrapping thereof, the CVs are following or rather trying to recreate the same plots that had been the TRP winners in the past. Komo and Pre's tashan has happened for that matter. Now they are enroute showing Prerna and Anurag's journey of friendship and ultimate love and Anurag's jealousy in the interim. At this juncture, it seems like apart from filling in for Parth's screen-time the new character will also act as a catalyst to bring AnuPre closer, until of course Maata and the CVs become confident and adventurous enough to change the discourse of the Show to something unpredictable but oh! so! predictable .

My only reservation is Anurag's pushy attitude in the whole thing. It would have made much sense if Komo sweet talked Veena ma and convinced her to get Prerna married off to a suitable guy. Veena asking help from Anurag to convince Pre would have been practical as well as plausible instead of Anurag, who at the moment has no defined relationship with Pre, initiating the whole thing, that too on Komolika's insistence....

Otherwise, Prerna is at such a tender stage of her life where she does need a friend and confidant badly. Hopefully the new entrant will be her friend, philosopher and guide and a shoulder she would need to lean on. We know that Pre is not going to fall for anyone but it is quite a possibility that the new entry would. It would be interesting to watch a well-written, well etched character with clear characterization. The the angst, the hopelessness of unrequited love he could bring forth to the table would be added bonus. Hopefully makers are clear about his character arc -- black, white or grey, not a convoluted mess of every color.
