Did his mom really write that letter?

I have some doubts. Okay, my Sherlock Holmes hat is on. (Sorry if I'm wrong. Don't wish to offend anyone.)

Why would a 60-something mom write on a register se torn paper?? Like a college student?

And if you have seen letters in TV Serials..they also are written on such torn pages with similar girlish/kiddish handwriting.

Coming to the writing, it seemed to be of a younger person. The dots were rounded balls instead of just dots. I doubt SS's mom (has to be 60 at least, right) would be writing like that

Hindi to english flow seems silly and deliberate. Some names are in hindi, some english.

Mrs. Shukla's hindi would be much pure, no? Then did the first line make sense - hindi wise? 'to accha ....? what is that word?

Marathi touch?

I feel even if his mom did sent a letter, this is a censored and re-written version.

Of course, the need of sending letter is still a moot point. Doosri side kya glycerine lagaya tha?? 😆

Any opinions?

I had the same thoughts. The letter didn’t look authentic, or coming from a mature parent; rather looked immature.

English/Hindi mix is not a practice, that Sid’s mothers generation would’ve inculcated.

The written dialect looked different in different angles, maybe that’s a technical glitch, however, the writing looked different at different angles.

It looked a bit forced, it looked as if Shukla’s image was being rectified.

A 60+ mom is likely to not write it herself, but dictate, while someone else writes for her. The writer, if a family member, might take the liberty to use a proper & appropriate word while writing, the dictation might not be of professional grade from a mom. 😊

I bet his sisters wrote part of it and helped their mom. Which is fine but I don’t think it’s fake

What’s th point ??

Kisne bhi likha ho .. the letter was purposely zoomed in so that inquisitive people could read and understand that kuch bura nhi lika.. it was just pure love from a mom to her son ..

his mom I watched on you tube .. is cool and very poised..

so no surprise in English & Hindi diction

I don't think we should in so deep about something like this . Is it - is it not . Is not gonna solve . At the end of day Shukla is also a son however bad person he is . He has got emotion so does his family better to leaver the letter their .

The amount of screen time the man was given with closeups of his face while he read the letter - really looks like BB drama to get him some sympathy

I was also surprised that the letter was in Hindi - I didn’t think his mother would be writing in Hindi

Looked cOmpletely fake to me
