As much as I don't like Sid, have to agree that he doesn't express much when it comes to personal feelings. He was probably thanking BB for giving him the gift and may be he got both the frame and the letter as Christmas gift. Why it was lying outside and how come he didn't see it is a matter of question. But definitely the letter shook him up. Baki to BB ki kripa poori hai uspe.

if you feel you did something wrong, koi aur tujhe batane ki jaroorat nahi. chhota bachha nahi ho tum. you should realise your wrong doings and sorry bolo other party ko. aise kab tak spoon feeding chalta rahega zindagi mein?
