Are you insane? I cant believe you actually think Paras was offered all those movies. Paras is a nobody even in the Indian entertainment industry. Even big shots like Aishwarya Rai and Hrithik Roshan find it hard to get a footing in Hollywood. Rai had been lobbying for years. She has the backing of international brands..shes a judge at Cannes. All she could land was a supporting role in one of the Pink Panther films.It takes a hell lot of lobbying even for established people in Hollywood to find work. And you re calling me jealous for not believing a splitsvilla contestant had been getting all those films and whats the story?-did paras reject them because they didnt like the scripts? As for Tom Cruise...a lot of his films were mediocre and now he is mentally ill. watch his scientology videos..u ll get what i mean . He is so insane that if they needed a stand in for Cruise theyd approach Shukla..not Paras. Although I dislike paras as a person I do believe he is talented and i d love to see him in good films..not crap like American pie. I'm also not jealous because Im not an actress looking for a career in this wood or that wood. EYE ROLL.

Thing is we don't know the sources and details what's on offer. But people including you started ridiculing him, that doesn't actually justify your claims that you want to see him in better films. Thing is there's no good or bad films, it depends on acting skills, scripts, caste, direction & production etc everything.

Ms Rai or top B.Wood stars, strugling to get a Hollywood film has nothing to do with why Paras can't get. It's the role that matters & if that suits the guy & if she/ he will do that role etc that's what matters. Most big stars don't accept offers they get. So actually you are on a different track justifying a preconceived notion.

Well, your initial reaction felt like that to me, you don't need to be an actor to be jealous, fans do very often get jealous of others, specially whom they dislike. Had it been on your fav you wouldn't have had that reaction I bet. So I guess you understand perfectly why I said what I said.

@ Bold... no thats not how the industry works. Theres a hell lot of lobbying involved. Even established stars have to do all kinds of things to find work. On top of it..there are layers and layers of racism to go through. Its not a merit based industry as we believe. For one role..there are thousands if not lacs of talented people who actually suit the role but often the role goes to a talentless actor who has connections. Hence nepotism.

My response has nothing to do with fandom. As a Rashmi fan I find Paras more versatile..shes a great actress but I find him more entertaining..he is more spontaneous. If u were to tell me Rashmi rejected four offers from Hollywood...Id laugh then too for the same reasons i mentioned already.

By the way..Im insane too ..afterall I watch BB and keep posting on forums about BB..so ^^5.

Ermm...There ARE good films and bad films.What???? There are tons of shitty films and there are good films every now and then. And I was not ridiculing Paras...I was ridiculing the people who believed this bullshit story. If I had to ridicule paras it would not be about his skills as an actor..I hadnt heard about him until Bb so i dont know about how acting skills...I have things to say about his manipulative backbiting nature but that has nothing to do with this thread. And mine arent 'preconceived notions'...I stated well established facts about the entertainment industry. Anyway why are we even talking about this.

Just let me know when Paras's American movie hits the theatre. We'll watch it together.
