A lot of people live alone and not with their families.

She was insinuating that someone is trying to manipulate her brother about Arhaan. She may have problems with certain members of her family, but that does not mean that she doesn't love any of them, especially her close ones. She has spoken a lot about her niece throughout the show and clearly adores her.
