Let's not forget that SRK himself was enough to draw the audience once upon a time. No matter how shitty his movies turned out during the last decade, still his popularity is skyrocketing both in the nation and overseas. With a proper script, SRK alone will be enough to give a solo blockbuster. King Khan doesn't need Deepika, Alia or any other hero in his movie to rise again. Let's not forget about Happy New Year and Dear Zindagi. There even the Maharanis couldn't save him. Perhaps we can compare SRK to a phoenix bird, who is burning at this moment. But once he will choose a suitable movie to do, then his career will reborn and he will shine stronger than ever. Not losing hope from SRK. He is called King Khan for a reason.

This is still better than Salman's 2007 release marigold.

It barely Made 1.2cr on the budget of 20cr.

It's not like Zero didn't open well. It did 20cr on day1, that's preety much good for romantic film. Such films rely on audience report and somehow zero didn't get thumbs up from audience.

Srk's career is NOTHING without yashraj and dharma's SAFE FORMULAIC love story movies (mostly) with top notch actresses for support.

(Yet not even a single 300 cr net movie on his record).

He mostly played safe unlike salman & specially Aamir.
