Women need to stop playing namby pamby frail dainty damsels and fight on equal terms if we want to be treated equally in the world. We don’t need charity anywhere. If a woman hurts a man, he should be under no obligation to treat her with kindness and vice-versa. Respect is great both ways, but this entire narrative of the masculinist obligation of having to treat women with fragile fingers is such a neanderthal social construct.

@bold- omg Are you freaking serious?😳

Women are BORN "physically" Weaker than men, and its not their fault. We can be strong in a lot of other factors. And this is NOT mindset but Science forgodsake. Thats how the built is. The people are not fools to put sports as men/women separately🤔

And not every girl gets the money/interest/time/liberty to do all that just to prove herself to be "physically" Strong. Whereas a guy is like that from birth without any effort.

@bold again- Sorry I don't do any of the activities u mentioned, but I would refuse to accept me or any girl who hasn't by the adjectives you mentioned.

We all are strong people in our own ways, and I would still be refuse to get beaten just bcoz I don't have some muscle. Its not my fault my brother is stronger than me without the both of us putting any actual effort.

Rest the tea thing, I have no problem with Shukla throwing tea on Rashmi as a reaction.

there are girls who can beat up many boyz. If the mindset changes, then I'm sure girls will have a different mindset & naturally acquire strength. It starts with a mindset of keeping the girls malnourished to feed the boy.

If both are treated same & not biased to maintain a particular image of a boy and a girl, you will see the gaps narrow.

1. Girls and boys are not the same physically. That's how one determines what gender they are on.

2. Inheritedly boys have more Strength, muscles. Bone structure is dense.

3. This is laws of nature. Humans dont make the rules.

4. One having more muscle power doesn't mean they are superior to another.

Means, physically weak or stronger isnt the determiner of which gender is superior

Eg, cheetah, tigers have immense muscle power but human being has their brains which is the ultimate tool.

So no it's not about mindset. Its your lack of knowledge in biology & basic logic

shukla doesn't give a shit about girls. He said all that crap to prove he believes in equality but this is anything but equality

Mental/Talent/intelligence/creativity/job sectors are above this, equal chances should be given here & ppl should not assume a man will do these jobs better before hiring someone

And what you mentioned if this would have been the case then all sports have been combined & not divided into 2 secs (male & female)

Learning self defense or being interested in sports as a girl is good but those who are not doing this now can we blame them that she didn't learn martial art so couldn't protect herself?

Say an average guy can lift 10kg, it's not compulsory a woman shall lift 10kg as well

What shukla spoke was utter nonsense. Equality doesnt work like that at all.

Your arguments are slippery all over, except for the one on sport. So, am not even going there. This is not about blaming woman who can’t defend themselves, but about the habit of blaming and shaming men who are expected to bear female assault just because we live in a patriarchal society.

No man needs to bear emotional or physical assault from a woman in silence and vice-versa. Period.

Equal doesn't mean, one has the right to raise hand on another. Your entire premise of this post is seriously flawed.

Yes it would be flawed to all those who supports shukla blindly

My comment was based on shukla's logic & it's an example that one can use as an excuse the way he meant how girls & boys equal thing is

Let's now not get into what civilized society or human behaviour is cause by that scale shukla should have a few suing cases on him & the list is gonna be long

I am no damsel in distress but I am not even challenging that in physicality an average woman is generally not that strong as compared to men and it is okay.

I wish they had this understanding even.

Just see one has to learn it while other one is already inheriting it to some extent

Exactly! How is this even an argument?

Goodness sake the points people put here are a challenge to medical science😳 There's something called muscle mass, puberty, etc

We can't complain why a guy gets more growth spurt and gets taller than a girl of same age now can we? Because thats how its supposed to be. Not in our control. Just having the mindset wouldn't change the number of actin and myosin fibres of your body! This is ridiculous😳

Yes we can TRY to be physically fitter, but not our fault if we don't!

Rashmi threw tea on Sid first, but when Sid threw tea on Rashmi back.. she started yelling ''aurat ki izzat''.. so what is Rashmi expecting? She'll throw tea on Sid & he won't utter a word?

Why Sid throwing tea on Rashmi is ''aurat ki bezti'', but Rashmi throwing tea on Sid is not ''mard ki bezti''? That's double standard & hypocrisy, & no way equality.

If we are talking about equality, guy slapping a girl and girl slapping a guy is the same. I think everyone agrees on that.

I have not seen Rashmi yelling at Sid for throwing chai back at her. The whole aurat ki izzat is not for the chai. It was for what he said. She threw chai at him in the first place because he said ghar laana chod diya. He ended up throwing chai on her face. I din't see anyone making an issue about him throwing chai back at her. Not even rashmi. How do you argue that when she started it first? Even on forum I din't see people making an issue about throwing chai back.

About boys and girls equality .....yes they should be equal in theory but it's a scientific fact that they aren't physically equal. They are not and no arguments can prove otherwise. That's the reason girls of get grabbed and kidnapped and horrible things happen to them by guys younger to them.

Yes der r girls like Mary Kom and the phogat girls but not everyone can be dt.

Coming to what Shukla said......agreed parents treat their children equal irrespective of gender and dts how dt should be but you don't apply the same logics and rules for girls outside your sibling range.

I slap my cousins when we fyt or even widout reason.....does that mean I can slap any guy at work just coz I feel like it ??? Rules change according to the environment. You can't apply the same rules you hv at home to your workplace. You don't behave the same way you are wid your younger sister wid your wife. There are many such examples.

All in all Shukla's explanations were ridiculous and childish and made me feel he has lost his damn mind.

I am already feeling sick with the lack of knowledge here

And guess what I have not even touched the issue of testosterone & estrogen! I am anticipating that these people can claim both men & women have it in same quantity thus equal

It's not about mindset at all

I feel sick seeing girls supporting that shukla's twisted definition of equal power
