Maya is repeating the same which happened with her. So, it can be from her past. And we most of the time think from our experiences, it applies to her too.

Yup. That's what I think too.

That is wholly possible. The wide-eyed innocent girl who was surprised to get into such a house and family and ended up paying the price with her and her loved ones' blood. It could explain where her father and Manas disappeared as well. Maybe her father was one of those who had to pay the price with his life and Manas turned on Maya and left them for the Roys.
