Okay..let's get this straight first. I am no one's fan here. But I have been following this season and still struggling to find one favourite sane contestant. I have seen all the seasons of big boss but this season is on altogether different level.

Anyways coming to my point, all I want to say is this season though has hit a lot of new lows, one thing very evidently comes out is fake feminism.

All the ladies in the house try to show that they are very strong, independent and no less than their male contestants. But in this process, they also want to be treated like princess where they can say what they want to the men in the house and in return they should get respect.

Like seriously...

For e.g. Aarti in one of the episodes said to asim that aap apna ullu seedha kar rahe the.

Mahira on many instances has called Siddharth gatiya, buddha and pagal.

Shahenaaz has called many Male contestants kamina.

Madhurima called Vishal eunuch.

And ofcourse the winner in this category is rashmi who from yesterday has been saying kaamchor, nasedi, do kodi ka admi..and the list is long.. to siddharth.

Why such language? Agar ladki ki izzat hai toh ladke ki nahi hai kya??

So basically, my point is that had we reversed the situation and had males in the house saying such words to the women, it would have been such a hullabaloo.

I am a girl but I don't support such kind of behaviour of the females in Bigg boss.

They all are live examples of fake feminism.

I agree. The rules should be the same regardless of the gender. I am generally not offended when male contestants call females all kinds of names cause vice-versa happens. Shukla called Rashmi a bitch. I was okay with it cause she also calls him haramkhor and other things.

My issue is when certain things are said clearly with the intention of character maligning. In this case a girl is more at loss than a guy. You will not see many guys getting offended to a lot of these things. Haan tou kya hai mard hu chalega. A woman doesn’t have the same luxury. Most gaalis are women bashed....in the country that claims a woman is goddess. A woman’s integrity is based on her character and the society has set some rules as to how women must behave. This is where feminism comes into place. If women can’t speak for themselves then who will? Nothing wrong in true feminism...we need it badly. People should know what it truly stands for.

I agree.

Not supporting woman card and all but some statements are so wrong that you can't stand by them.

@bold: had the situation been reversed? The men in the show(almost all of them) have been saying equally if not more disgusting things about women already. Be it character shaming of Sana and Rashmi, disgusting remarks about Mahira's physical attributes, Shefali's character assasination for staying with Asim, remarks on Himanshi etc etc.

Not to mention the countless Janani, ladki hai ye toh and other comments.

And aaj toh they took it to another level :

Teri behen **** dunga by Paras

Tere jaisi ladki ko ghar pe lena band kar dia hai by Shukla

Gems.

IMHO all the contestants are pathetic this season. It's just that some are worse than the others and are simply getting whitewashed .

Par only women card is being played here right?

Izzat sab ki hain .But when one is white washed and other is made to feel as if they instigate and provoke that is the issue. I wont have any problem if both Shukla and Rashmi are bashed equally for their language .But we all know it wont happen.
