This rumour was around the time of Queen release also, back then Vikas Bahl or Anurag denied it... Anurag Kashyap on his kwk episode with Anushka said (this was before Queen released) Kareena should ask what the script is about instead of seeing who is cast opposite her... I always found that comment odd unless he went to her with a script and she rejected because the actor opposite her was no popular. Bebo later said Anurag gave her a really good advice said she will listen to scripts from here on. She took the comment positively instead of getting catty which is another surprise since Bebo is not known to mince words or be polite for the sake of it... If I'm not wrong it was after Queen released

Later on she did Phantom's Udta Punjab so she did take heed of Anurag's advice kya? 🤔😂
