Few theories in this twitter thread making some sense .Below theory is one among those:

MJ was pretending to be kind wth Maya but actually he was threatening her by killing her father/brother as he was trying to separate M&R. So she was forced to act as she was cheating R wth his father just to make him hates her.

Some of Maya's lovely Memories belong to Rudra..But other memories either they belong to MJ whn he was threating her OR they belong to Rudra after he was persuaded that M was cheating him. Especially when he asked her to determine her price.

Why 10 years and why Rudra doesn't remember her? I think both of them had an accident and Rudra lost part of his memory including the face&name of M. While Maya stayed in a hospital for 10 years.

This dialogue when she said, "I've come here because of you Rudra. Because the past and the present must be connected".

Except for the part where Maya stayed in hospital for 10 yrs.. Remaining theory makes some sense

Of course!! It’s just not possible for her to not know that MJ was married. I think despite knowing his marital status, she still fell for him and most likely he led her on.

That’s because he might’ve been really attached to MJ in the past and took pride in doing something which was important for him, that is, arranging the party.

Or maybe the cvs just added that dialogue and we are just overthinking.

I also think that was intentional & it could be as Antara does everything MJ tells her to do.

Rudra can be in abroad. That's the only thing justifies why he doesn't know Maya even when she was so close to everyone. Rishi can be too young to remember anything.

Also, Maya glanced at everyone and had a flashback except Rudra. So him not being around at that time makes sense to me.

Yes I still hold on to Maya-MJ affair and her pregnancy. The bracelet is the only missing link. The risk Maya posed to MJ and his reputation and therefore the cruelty she was meeted upon. Rudra has to be abroad to not have met Maya ever.

Also, like everyone has discussed, the uber rich are notorious for philandering and being married is a known fact, yet they always find willing partners.

Diya’s dialogue yesterday, that women would do anything to be in Antara’s position is also very telling.

Maya had a brief flashback with everyone except Rudra and Rishi. So them not being in the house at that point is not surprising considering the time frame. Rudra might’ve been 20 something and studying abroad makes absolute sense.

My argument here is that Rudra organizing the party didn’t necessarily mean that he had to physically be there.. he might just call event planners and decide the theme of the party!! 😆

I actually noticed that too. Antara hands her the gift and walked away, then MJ takes a step towards her. This could either mean that they were just having an innocent conversation, they were having an affair or MJ was interested in her.

That scene would definitely establish the relationship they had.. That excuse me and that tiny step forward seemed awkward to me!

Also, if we go by the initial spoilers and plot line, it was on the lines of Maya having an affair with an older man..
