Is naukrani really a degrading term?!

Yesterday the contestants made this naukrani thing a really big issue. They were reacting as if naukrani is an abusive word! First of all, it's just an occupation and naukars and naukrani are really hard-working ppl! They work all day all night long to keep houses clean and also cook for the family they are working for! I don't see anything wrong in being called a naukrani! Iss matter ko bewajah rubber ke tadha kheecha gaya tha! Despite being a RaSim fan and anti-Shukla I would say Rashami n Asim did look more wrong here. Well who is actually more wrong all depends on the intention of how contestants on what they think about the word naukrani. Next time, RaSim shld leave Shukla alone cause no matter what he do they will still look wrong unless if its needed.

I agree with u they did go overboard yesterday. The problem with RD is when she is angry she looses it. She is already pissed off at the biased host and channel, us her personal grudges with him. So she brings them in between even on slight instigation. About naukrani word..it's not degradingw word per say but the way Sidd has been using it since day 1 is pissing her off. She is cooking since day one and she feels aid says in that way. Plus he always keeps ordering her ki aisa nai aisa, so it's kind of an outburst

When the intent is to put the other person down using a word which does have negative connotation, then it is provocative .... Going by Sid's mentality and how he treats people as if below him imagine what he must think of people with lowkey occupations?! His intent was clear cut to insult her, hence degrading!

Shukla did say to demean rashmi. Naukarani is not her job atleast in bb and she retaliated back.

Why shukla reacted when rashmi said him to play task ? We (including me) are thinking rashmi shouldn't have spoke in middle, is that really offending for him? Naukarani is offending but the outburst became worse when arhaan n vishal joined from nowhere.

Well I can tell you a incident from real life. We had a maid in our house and my aunt's son just literally told me that your maid(he used the word kaam wali at that time) has come. At that time my maid reacted like anything and started arguing with my aunt's son

exactly it totally depends on intention but unfortunately here actions are judged rather than intentions, i never trust shukla's intention he did seem to say that to insult her. my issue is that why this word is used for insulting people, it's just an occupation, if a naukar/naukarani watches this they will definately feel bad.

The context is what matters here !

the context in which Shukla said it was OBVIOUSLY wrong !

E.G. - 'W**re' is also a profession , but if said in a different context is considered very abusive and downgrading

Please understand the context here

At least Asim is not going around splashing tea, tearing people's shirts, shoving them, pushing them and stooping way too low by passing below the belt comments.....People need to stop being OVER JUDGEMENTAL when it comes to Asim !

Also yes Rashmi and Asim should have definitely not stretch the matter BUT Shukla can't be absolved of his wrong doing either ! Since Asim is still more sane I expect him to not stretch these matters from next time and not fight others' battles...Rashmi is capable to fight her own battle

that's why sometimes i use the word helper rather than servant. but this word is uncessarily used as if it is a gaali.

Only mistake I found of Asim in this matter is that he stretched this matter unnecessarily. He used to get violent a lot easily in the initial days but he has cut down a lot on that, but he needs to stop getting hyper while defending or presenting his point. I really like this guy a lot, so I feel bad whenever he is being blamed. He did mistake at times, but its always him who has to listen more taunts compared to others when they do much bigger mistakes. why is asim always being made the scapegoat?! i dont like that! voh bhi ek insaan hai
