She could be talking about family members like chacha, mama, taya, etc.. these are the common villains 🤬in every family.

Umm seriously?family value? There are people who have toxic parentsal relationships. And no, there are many times its not children's faults!

In india we glorify parents. They never make mistakes, they never are wromg, mata nahi kumata and all that. We forget that before parents and before being family, they are human beinsg with their own flaws and sometimes those flaws can be very very toxic. India mein mist depression patients are because of parental and familial pressure

She did not drag Shuklas mother into it. She said "ghana banane se koi naukrani ban jaati hai toh iski maa naukrani hai kya jo isko khilati hai/thi ?". Its not literally about HIS mother. Its a way of question the way he sees people who do chores. It was a more of a comment about cooking not about mothers.

She did not drag Asims father into it. lol. I 'll use one of Rashmis own quotes as an example "Tere baap ka nahi khati hoon ". Now thats not a literal reference to somebodys father. Again its a way of bringing up power dynamics...she was telling Asim that she was not obliged to do anything for him.
