That’s why I said that sometimes the Liberty of even cracking homophobic jokes can be taken with straight people but not with LGBTQ people as it offends more.

That’s why something like this would never be a big deal but what Asim said or did ( albeit indirectly and without intention) won’t be as Asim is straight while VG isn’t.

Just same statements are differently offensive to different groups, they shouldn’t be but that’s the reality of things.

I think VG over reacted on that. He knows our society and people joke sometimes. Take it easy, if you can't then you are marginalizing yourself. Don't make it a taboo. People must be able to talk & joke about everything. Woke culture doesn't help to normalize taboos.

Andy was in BB8 I guess and he wasn't so sensitive and even used to discuss with others & they were laughing on his answers too.
