We don't know about their past, woh dono kabhi relationship main the ki nai etc so can't say exactly why shukla ne typical "jalana" word use kiya.

But agar koi past hai jo audience janti nai hai to ho sakta "jalana" word kuch imply kar raha hai isiliye shukla ke mooh se yeh nikal gaya.
