I think that scene can be pretty monumental because even though we all knew it was only infatuation from his side, it just cemented how typical Rishi is. Yes, Maya gave him a chance to back off by reminding him that he doesn't love her, but he insisted. And Maya chose to punish him by using reverse psychology, as in he blackmailed her that he would himself if she doesn't do his bidding and got trapped in it by her himself!

I also feel that unlike rishi.. Rudra will speak out his feelings when the right time comes in real sense and she wont be able to resist either.. or vice versa rudra will value that I love u over rishi for sure..

I love the fact that she has Rishi right where she wants him. The amount of power she has over him is pretty scary, if not, damn impressive.

He hasn’t even uttered her name and instead of ignoring her text, he replied INSTANTLY fearing her reaction!!

With Rishi it's also her broken self which craves for love. She uses her truth to trap him. And with Rudra, her changed avatar which is strong.
