I don't think Rishi will completely lose interest in Maya tbh. It might happen temporarily due to the shaadi drama. But, there is a reason they put so much emphasis on the fact that Rishi cut MJ's call after realizing that Maya's hand had been cut. He put Maya above his dad, and he has never done that despite having many girlfriends. Even, MJ was surprised by that fact but he was cajoled by Amir saying Rishi might be busy or just distracted with Rudra's investor. The emphasis was foreshadowing that Rishi will hurt/ignore his dad and rest of the family for Maya's sake/love in the future. It is very likely that he will fight against Rudra for Maya's sake at least until he sees Maya's real side or finds out about her reasons for approaching him/doesn't love him.

But i don't agree totally that he is innocent, he isn't. The case here is i this rishi is only trying to timepass with maya. Maybe just a fling thing which his age group boys considers as a cool thing. But when he realized how maya can be. He is getting its seriousness and that's what we saw in today's epi.

There is a stage for everything in life. Rishi is immatured pampered kiddo .... He seriously dint cut his wrist that's a nice thing . Honestly this whole comparison with MJ is so lame.😳

There's also a hidden parallel. I think what Maya is doing to Rishi is probably what MJ did with her? Or someone related to MJ? Promised Love, happiness and everything while giving nothing?

Rishi is just a young spoilt brat who is flirtatious. I don't find him to be negative or bad. He is just a playboy who doesn't really take anything seriously in life.

I kind of enjoy his acts plus his "Mar geya" expressions are hilarious.

But high chances are maya will kill him and that will be the first big blow for mj.
