One such situation would mean police officers involved were wrong and need to be punished accordingly.
But one situation or more than one such situation, doesn't change the fact that protests have taken violent route everywhere.
Two wrongs don't make one right. As much police is to be blamed for being aggressive, so are the protesters who resort to violence.
Nobody is supporting violence. If there is violence and damage to public property, every single one of them needs to answer. They need to be arrested, and tried in courts. They do not need to be beaten and THEN left like that. And definitely not students. Take them, arrest them, handle them at police stations.
And one situation says the lot. Police are given instructions how to handle a particular protest. The Jamia incident just shows what kinda instructions they have been given to handle students. Its almost like they are taking their frustration out on them.
