students don't have any code of conduct, but police do have. They shouldn't be acting on emotions, that is stupid. While I get how much these students can annoy. but police needs to be keeping the anger aside.

I have seen many protests were police were instigated so much, and when they took action, it only led to their suspension here in Shillong. So police shouldn't fall for it, IMO, and conduct themselves according to the law. Students madarchods don't have any rule to follow, police have. So police shouldn't act like the ones seen in videos.

U know u should be believing the police sources over random videos over the social media which has full chances of being fake or doctored to create a narrative, unless of course u have verified each and every video that u have seen through authentic sources. But then ur call whether u want to stick to belief or facts.

I m merely presenting facts stated by government officials not really attaching my opinions here based on my belief. Students at Jamia were peacefully protesting and do not deserve to be beaten up or called anti-national.

I am expecting any thing from those supporting violence just because it means opposing Modi and BJP, but police dragging students and beating them is also not a solution.
