Exactly! Even my friends are tired of hearing this but I keep saying it because its such an emphatic big-picture point that gets diluted in the smaller-picture conversations.

This guy was NOTHING. Now, not only is he a top contender for winning the show, but its purely based on goodwill and a united front among fans that "if the channel won't support him directly, we'll make them!" Its really an amazing feat.

If this was a show with just non-celebs/commoners (Indian Idol/Roadies type, where everyone's whole public image is based on only the show) then:

- Rashmi would never be brought back

- Shukla would be kicked out after the first dhakka (actually maybe even when he was first rough with Mahira months ago)

- Vishal/Madhu, Rashmi/Arhaan etc. all these angles wouldn't work at all without the prior context

So, that would just leave Asim and Sana. Everyone else has fandoms imported from other worlds. Don't get me wrong, I am not discounting other people's contributions (esp people like Shukla, Paras, Rashmi, Devo, Vishal, who have genuinely made efforts and are not freeloaders by any means). But overall, the fact that Asim started way, way, way behind the starting line and has totally caught up on the race is something that should not only be overlooked, but should be mentioned by Salman every f**king week to motivate the lazy ones like Bhau, Aarti, etc. Same goes for Sana too. I'm not a fan of her, but her success in terms of before/after the show is undeniable.

Seeing this trend on Twitter has really brought out something in me it seems. 🤣

This is what I’m saying. The guy actually has created a fan base on the show. I don’t know why Shukla fans are so insecure. I mean Asim is a newcomer and even if he doesn’t win the show which he won’t but don’t be so insecure coz you have support of fans, channel, BB, Salman while Asim has nothing but fans.

Also I wanna point to another thing owing to the bias. Of the last 3 weeks I’ve seen a lot of neutral fans of the show ( like you and honey bee on this thread) turn into Asim fans only because the show is hell bent on relegating this guy and breaking him owing to their own bias

And of course that’s genuine not PR 😳

Bro! Here people are asking how to trend on Twitter and same thread Pe you’re talking about a paid trend. Paid trends are planned you know. The promo came out at 12:30- trend started immediately. I work with a lot of PR agencies believe me it doesn’t work without a pre planning.

Anyway I for one have never don’t believe in Paid PR arguments for anyone, even for Sid. I do believe trends are more or less genuine( PR might have a small role to play) and I do agree Sid is the most popular contestant this year but Asim is also quite popular which is why he has the 2nd highest trends dedicated to him this BB season after Sid. Given he’s a total newcomer and he trends more than RD who is a much bigger star and would have much higher resources to pay for PR.

Btw I just wanna tell you guys the cost of PR.

So for like genuine IG likes and comments ( not the fake bots ones) PR companies charge 100 per like, and 250 per comment. Now imagine!

I don’t know about Twitter but I know about IG very well, as I work within the fashion industry and regularly work with PR companies
