Though I dislike her quite a bit but I feel she’s there to annoy a large section of audience. And even though she and Paras aren’t liked and don’t get votes but give a lot of content (mostly negative imo). They won’t evict Mahira anytime soon as her leaving might also derail their sidnaz ship, which colors doesn’t want.

She’s such a bug freeloader.

Coz ghar nahi chidiyaghar hai ye. More the merrier hai BB ka hisaab.

I disagree. The only time I found her right was with the Shukla fiasco. I was on her side then because Shukla was a bully and Salman instead of showing his place told Mahira to not provoke him. That was WRONG.

Apart from this one event, I don't remember a single instance where Mahira made noise for the right reason. She is not a survivor. She is a freeloader.

You make a very interesting argument. I kinda agree with you. Mahira is the primary source for annoyance in the house. I don't know about the Shukla thing though. I feel Shehnaz can be the only person in the house and she would still a find a way to entertain herself.

I know I will fail to convince, but still want to make my point.

You are looking for a hero contestant who stands for right reason. Voice opinions or Try to put across a right point of view. Asim is close to that contestant.

Mahira is not that contestant. I have liked her for being pro active. Many may disagree, as She is very annoying most of the times. But Mahira has played her own game. She takes initiative and makes right move, if she knows she is in trouble. She does not give up. Like when she did not get any support and was humiliated by Salman, she did not think game as over for her. She knew she cannot stand across Shukla, so she decided to stand with Shukla. She worked her way to get in his good books and enjoying all perks now. But she is not like other Shukla friends. She has said to Arti, I will support Sid as long as he does not disrespect me.

She also expresses herself clearly if she is in disagreement, when the topic is about her. Like Rashmi misrepresenting her case front of Farah in court task. Like Paras asking Sid to give orange to Mahira in BB school task on her birthday. She was very expressive. She told she does not want khairat.

In the task where Paras/Sid Dey and Abu/Asim were holding hands to get saved from nominations. Paras told her to torture Asim. Mahira told Paras, Asim is also my friend like you are. I will support both. She supported Asim and Paras by giving them water and towel. Asim did not acknowledge her effort and started talking to her rudely next day. Mahira and Asim became arch enemy that day.

Mahira showed good gesture by giving Asim his letter.

The task before first finale Mahira knew there were talks about making the task draw. She worked on Paras constantly telling him the bahu group plan and pushed him to convince Rashmi to support them.

Mahira is always active in every task. She is not a Freeloader, she is giving content. It may not be quality.

The Freeloader are some who has no clue what to do in the game like Arti, Rashmi, Arhaan.
Bhau has also not taken interest in any task lately.

@blue I'm an unapologetic feminist and I am upset by the lack of strong female role models. I would be the last person who would want a "hero" contestant.

That just shows that you have no self-respect and in fact it negated all the admiration she achieved when she stood up against the wrong he did. Also I clearly remember that she was not talking to Shukla UNTIL Paras started getting friendly with him. This is what annoyed me the most about her change in attitude. If she did it on her own accord I would have still understood (but would have still felt that she negated her own stand, but still I would have understood.)

It's not about being in the good book of a bully, it's about how to tame a bully when you can't get rid of him. Even BB fails to control or change him; they have tried that; didn't work, so the next best option was to bring him to your side to neutralize him. She did it for the team not for Paras alone. That suited her perfectly.

In War or game, if you face a strong warrior or player, you try to take him in your side, that's a strategy used even in today's world. In your approach of feminism looks like you don't expect women to apply their brain and strategize their battles, rather fight senselessly; that's like copying brainless brutal example of some male heroes. I believe women should use brains and strategize to fight the issues rather than doing it some men's way.

You don't understand the show, I'm sorry but that's on display. Here it's like "Jo dikta hai woh bikta hai" that's the world at large too. Yes two intelligent lines would be good but the show doesn't accept it. Our renowned writer had to leave the show in 3 weeks, although he gave many words of wisdom. So let's be realistic, who in this show is giving that quality that you expect it from a 22 yo?

Yes I agree she lacks articulation but she does know always why she's talking. It's good that she's talking, bcoz non talkers are first in first out. Talking is the show & people who watch aren't mostly academics, so they understand her language pretty well, whether they like or not is their choice.

OMG if she's being mean without using abusive words, she's the perfect one for BB. No beeps makes it easy for BB & Audience. If there would be no beeps in the show, you would have called her Master of articulation, who can be mean yet without abussive words.

I don't think that you watch the show regularly. But I could be wrong. do you?
