Siddharth is mostly appreciated in the show by the audience for his straightforward ness and honesty and his strong stand. I think by not making asim a captain , he's lost that opportunity to redeem himself as not an insecure person but a strong and honest one. Moreover, his honesty would've been appreciated had he said that asim performed well in the task, paras is also being appreciated for this even if he said this to know shukla's game. I think shukla missed an opportunity to prove himself to be a self sufficient and secure person . He wouldn't even have been affected by asim being a captain as he wasn't in the house and was unwell . So what was the need for that unfair decision .

Also that was not Asim's fight to fight regardless of what Shefali said. When Asim fought with her over the sacrifice thing, he was right. He didn't ask her for any of it so she needs to stop acting like she was doing him a favor BUT in the same breath, what is between Bhau and Shefali is their thing and he should have stayed away. If Asim didn't say anything to shefali regarding Bhau he would've been 100% right. He did everything right except the fact that he let anger take control of him.

Look at the person he fought for is now blaming him. I hope Asim has a wake up call and only focuses on his game and doesn't try to help someone who doesn't even appreciate it.

I agree. But Asim is short tempered and he lets reactions get to him. I never defend him for that so I’ll give you that concession. I did admit that he overreacted on the shef and Bhau thing.

But theek hai some people need to learn it the hard way and good thing Asim will learn it like that.

Well I see your point, for me that are both winners irrespective of the BB manipulation.

Majorly Shukla lost the plot, he could have regained some lost ground in friendship, if he would have suggested Asim over Rashmi and regained magnanimity if he chose Rashmi over Asim but unfortunately, that's too much of, an expectation from him

Rashmi and asim were more or less at the same spot , 19 -20 ka fark hoga as rashmi was good in that makeup and joker task that was on day 1 of kathputli task but on day 2 , asim was funnier with the foam task. They were both at the same spot for me. Rashmi was funnier on day 1 and asim on day 2 with that i am an apple pie thing as both rash and asim made fun of themselves , they were both adorable.

Agree..kl ke aaye naye launde se 40 saal ke Shukla ki phat gayi hai uske expressions se clearly dikh raha tha. For makers it's only one sided game but in reality Asim sid ko neck to neck takkar de raha hai.

Shukla's confidence is really shaken up by Asim's rise in the house. Even socially, Asim has a separate friendship level with every single person. Meanwhile, Shukla's entire world is just Sana/Paras/Mahira who he spends all his time with. Him being in the secret room made him realize Asim is actually low-key in a really strong leadership position without being captain at all. This week, when there was no captain, everyone was drawn to Asim/Vishal to solve duty disputes.

Asim didn't even deserve it. Lol

Why would he make him the captain?

Merit wise, Rashmi was head and shoulders better than the rest.

Game wise, it would be akin to stabbing Sana in the back by choosing Asim because you know Asim would most definitely expect payback for Himanshi's captaincy & Sana would have to handle it all alone.

Sid made the absolute right decision by choosing VG keeping everything in mind.

Secondly , sid is appreciated by the audience for his honest opinion and straightforward ness , choosing VG over rashmi and asim clearly showed what an insecure jerk he is. He would have been applauded for keeping his rivalry and competition aside and choosing the best candidate, yet he lost a golden opportunity to prove himself as a secure and honest person by making a less deserving candidate as a captain . Rashmi and asim have been there since day 1 , housemates would've been comfortable as they would know that they can adjust their duties by convincing them . On the other hand , VG is new to the housemates and those who don't have an interaction with him will obviously feel left out as they won't be able to discuss with him about the duties they're comfortable with .

Moreover , taking orders from a person who's come just now isn't very fair for the HM's.

If it were a perfect world and the two raakshas' were actually fair, it should have been Asim/ Rashmi.

They both did the task well and showed intent to win the captaincy. Asim was very good cuz despite of shredding Mahira's letter he tried to make things right after by explaining himself and gave some very good reasoning. He didn't have to do that but it showed that he still respects everyone, be it a friend or foe.

Rashmi was on the right track by not saying anything to bhau when he was giving her her letter (she basically acted like she didn't know what was going on but she knew. She knew very well lol). Vikas snatching it from her was silly on her part though.

During the task both of them did SO well, put in all the efforts, no questions asked.

But Sid's rationale was right, they currently need someone that is enutral and on good terms with everyone--it is best "for the house"

Asim doesn't get along with half the people and w/out captain--the whole last week everyone fought every single day on duties. So vikas is ideal
