This is exactly what I was thinking. Mini has daddy issues and it does make sense if she does end up falling for a mentor like person, much older than her. She has anyway always been much more mature than her age. And you are right, it does happen in real life. Maybe that’s why they are calling it a new age love story

I get your point but in reality I don’t see this ever happening because you’re asking for prohibition in real life for something that’s not real. There is no marriage, they’re playing a part and usually the part they’re playing is not the age they are in real life. Also it’s not technically romance, it’s “implying romance”. they don’t even kiss. It will be pretty hard to prohibit this when in reality nothing is going on and it’s all being suggested to the viewer. I guess it’s up to the viewer to separate the reality from the parts they Play accordingly. I can’t see how tv contributes to crimes against women, I reckon it’s more to do with mindset and power. People need to bring up better sons that are taught to respect women instead of teaching them the patriarchal mindset which what leads to these issues.

I understand your point entirely, what I meant was it would be pretty difficult to outlaw the practice as it points to an industry problem rather than a legal one. It doesn’t make it right ofc because it is kinda weird to have a 30 odd year old man kiss a 15 year olds neck for eg. I was under the presumption that in this case the “romance” was implied like they did was hs and babita than actually kissing 🤢. I know it doesn’t matter to some actresses tho, I saw reem shaik say recently she wouldn’t mind kissing on screen. Luckily the girls parents are around to make sure nothing untoward happens. Tv and film industries around the world hold way too much of power because of the money they make and the influence they have

Its sad that in the quest to be the lead, how much dignity is lost along the way.

Even the Music Videos are a bit much and the clothes as well.

Seriously needs guidance regarding her roles etc. Why not act and play there age instead of doing adult roles at 15 years.

The new lead is 35 years old, even the tought of romance is sickening to show be it actual or in the implied mode.

Seriously KK and RS and the PH needs to wake up and call it quits before it goes any further.

The more I see some of the comments here on IF the more I understand just what “society” babita often spoke about in season 1. It seems there’s so many perfect people in this “society” that they somehow think they have a right to judge another person. It’s a sad state of affairs
