Can't figure out why Vishal is still ok with Mahira but not with Sana.

I said it earlier also, he had always been more into Mahira.

Coz Mahira gives him bhao but Sehnaaz does not. Also, Vishal never had a fight with Paras like he had with Sid and Shehnaaz took Sid's side so he is still holding the grudge

Sana jitni carefree banti hai wo utni hai nhn. Usko har cheez hurt karti hai chahe wo koi b keh raha ho. Arti ne jab usko nominate kia wo hurt hui but then usne Arti ko b hurt kia by saying k usko farq nhn parta.

Jab Sid ne Himanshi se baat karna start kia tab b usko farq para coz Sid "uska" dost tha tou wo kyun uski dushman se baat kar raha tha. If u ppl remember the day when "before party" conversation happened between Sid and Sana... it cleared so many things. Sid in a very playful (but serious) mood was asking Sana to not give his place to anyone to which she replied that she will not and also told him that she will not do as per his desire but will do anything for him.

His reactions showed that he realizes wat the girl thinks of him and wats his place in her life. His closeness to her could not have increased if he had any doubts in his mind.

Why he didn nominate her though. He thinks she is strong enough that its of no use or he really didn want to nominate her ?

As to us viewers, that was first clear revelation from Sid's side that what he expects, wants and feels for her.
