To cover Shuklas violent behaviour they made Salman speak about the violent behaviour of all the other housemates which did not make sense at all because it is of no comparison to the way Shukla gets physical with his strength and unreasonable attitude. He only wants everyone to listen to him and absolutely has no patience to listen to anyones point of view.

After the WKV, and Himanshi's eviction, I think its fair to say that everyone must have been left with a sour taste in their mouths for Shukla. Even Salman himself looked tired of his shit, and when Salman finally allowed him to speak, he went off on some tangent about "short-comings" for which he had to clear up his sarcasm because it did not even register to Salman that this guy is so arrogant that he'd be joking about not having any shortcomings at all. Once Himanshi left, Asim was visibly upset and even told Vishal "Whatever these **** wanted, they did!" Ab maybe BB wants us to think Asim is referring to the makers (which makes sense considering how manipulated/unfair this entire week has been from Paras's nomination, to his surgery thing, to the last-minute voteout to evict Himanshi), or the other team, but either way - weird to include a tiny snippet like that.

Shukla has been a giant nuisance. He's made life hell for the people in the house, and for the rest of us watching his bullshit. Himanshi has exposed a bunch of things about his behavior which was edited, or at the least brushed off as unimportant. So, surely the makers must be annoyed as hell with this too. They're trying day and night to clean this guy up and present him as the hero, and he is hellbent on doing villianish things.

Maybe this is wishful thinking, but is BB now embracing Shukla's position in the show as a villain? The secret room works (for a protagonist) when someone is actively plotting against you, or isn't what appears to be infront of you. Its a tool for revealing some truth. This time around, the Secret Room appears to be just two guys (one is Paras, who has been clearly positioned as the bad guy from the start) joking, mocking, and laughing about other housemates who they already don't get along with. Its not a way to paint someone as a victim, but instead a way to paint someone as a bad guy, no?

Maybe this entire Rashmi/Arhaan revelation was designed to position Rashmi as the victim and push the reset button on the good/bad dynamics of the show. Afterall, ~ 3 months are still left to kill, and how long are they going to forcefully try to whitewash Shukla at the cost of the others' safety and sanity? Even the caller of the week (which we all know is fixed) asked Asim a dumb question, which Salman himself scoffed at. Plus, eliminating Himanshi unfairly might be a ploy to get Asim some sympathy. So, again, could be khayali pulao, but its starting to feel like the show is FINALLY giving up on whitewashing Shukla and instead positioning him in a way where he can still get ratings by his presence, but now as the bad guy instead.

Thoughts?

Shukla, a good actor(victim card)

TBH that mirror monologue seemed more pathetic than heartfelt to me. This idea of Shukla saving and helping Asim when Asim was down is pure bullshit. Asim has helped Shukla just as much as Shukla helped Asim when they were friends. Snakes/Ladders task mein Shukla would have dangerously hurt somebody if Asim hadn't stopped him then. Plus, Asim has been nominated so many times by now, and its the public that's been keeping him in the show.

Valid points all.

I too felt a reset was tried with the Arhaan thing...otherwise though washing of dirty linen in not new, creatives do push it BUT never has Salman directly gotten involved to 'hurt' a woman like that. She was humiliated - no other word! But all for her bigger good and betterment in house and audience sympathy. So, yes.

Shukla acted like an idiot this WKW especially Sunday episode ... precap not helping too. First time I saw him impatient and restless in front of SK. Earlier he always acted meek and good boy like. Today he could not take it - even a very mild criticism. Others were judged more harshly and directly called out. His alone talk near washroom was contrived BS.

Did you notice he said ..something something and then ...just because 'Samne Salman khan khada hai' (on WKW) I won't...

Wow! Hope SK noticed the slight! Earlier it was always Salman Sir or would have been 'Khade hai'... 😆

This happens every season, only Prince Narula was the contestant who won with so much hatred as he didn't have strong opposition. Siddharth won't win for just like Sreesanth didn't win. Manveer came out in limelight in the last weeks and won over others who were highlighted more whole season. Hina was shown in a bad light, she got so much hate and didn't win.

Imo sids been sent to the secretroom, so that the other hms open up their game, otherwise its always sids team vs whoever is against him. Whenever a team forms against sid, bb makes sure to dilute it. 1st time they sent out rashmi, devo nd shefali. 2nd time they kicked out arhaan nd made paras mahira against rashmi by the fake weekend call. Gulati called to patch up sid-sana. Now on arhaans reentry again a strong team was formed against sid, so bb worked extra hard to dissolve it. Attacking arhaans credibility and emotionally wrecking rashmi just for trp is a vry cheap move by the makers.

I have a feeling jaise Bakre ko halaal krne pehle khilaya pilaya jaata hai..waise hi sid aur Paras ke saath ho rha.

Since last 2 weeks they are coming out as villian..Sana is unable to defend sid..and what sid said in his defence made no sense at all in wkv. Paras has been playing dirty since start. They both are going totally wrong in the game.

Why did Hina get so much hate?! Was she genuinely annoying chudail type or was that her game plan? ... She comes off very weird in her IVs bitchy type!

I liked your points but I feel makers are playing a very confused game here.

The makers by now are aware that the audience is divided into two groups! Sid and Sana fans on one hand and Rashmi and Asim fans on the other. Not saying they are mutual. But Rashmi and Asim fans both probably dislike Shukla the most. And Shukla fans probably dislike Asim and Rashmi the most.

The fan wars have drawn the line. The neutrals will have shifting allegiances. If you notice both Sid and Asim in the last 3 weeks have been shown in both good and bad light. Some of their soft and human moments have been shown, and some of their very bad moments have been show too. The fact neither Has been bashed directly on the weekends is another sign- that makes aren’t taking a side just yet. Asim has looked less wrong and that’s why he’s been ignored and Sid hasn’t been spoken to properly because his violence has been too much.

This one week is crucial. But I feel, makers aren’t trying to make Sid or Asim look like villains( but they want the audience to choose) but they’re definitely making Rashmi the heroine in all this. Her whole arhaan thing and arhaan still saying stupid stuff about Rashmi is only going to benefit her in gaining sympathy.

I feel Asim vs Sid will be used whole season( fans will feel the narrative is against the other although eventually BB will make Asim the villain if they have to pick one) but the makers idea is to Rashmi the most sympathetic in all this.
