Part 3

It was around eight at night and geet was in her personal nursery. She had studied to be a herbalist and it was only tending to the herbs that could give her a peace that she needed most.

Out of all the things that she has forgotten it was only her vast and extensive knowledge of herbs that has retained. She still finds something's difficult, some memories hazy and the doctor's had ensured that it was the after effect of the accident. As she was tending to the leaves of one of the wild tea plant she held her head. She found this similar. Her hands dropped the tool that she was holding and held her head.

There was a beautiful house. It was those old style houses, trees lined to one place even and on one side she could see a wide patch of land which was extensively used for growing herbs and essential day to day plants. The trees were laden with fruits.. there were guards on the duty, the royal blue and golden uniform and a hat that was more like a modified form of turbun.. there were servant girls and some court ladies who was holding different tools , some jars while a girl who couldn't be more than eighteen was kneeling down and was herself picking some wild leaves that she recognised as healing herbs. She was piling them on the ground. The girl looked royal and she knew that it was the same girl she has been seeing in her dreams.

Rajkumari.. one of the servant girls called her and she immediately shut her..

I am not a princess.. don't say it anymore girja.. if anyone happen to hear you, it will be difficult for the prince.. she cautioned her servant who was the only one left for her. Though her prince still didn't know who she was or why she never tell him about her family but he never ask her. Her prince , the only person who was responsible for her now. He made sure that she had everything she needed. He made sure that she was safe and secure, he had secret guards for her safety because he was wary of his own family. Her prince, her husband Arjun.

Blackness covered geet's eyes as she couldn't contain anymore in her own dreams. She fell on the floor. Her dreams sometimes drain her of her energy. She had been in coma and still was on the way to recovery. She had seen the royal prince, his love for his wife but why she was the constant reminder of those dreams she couldn't understand. She could see how pain was embedded in their life but why she was given the insight of their life.

Meanwhile,

Maan was on his way to meet his friend, Karan was the one who was his constant companion in his life and Maan could feel his presence in the dreams nowadays too. The person who left Arjun was the close confident was his half brother Karan and coincidentally Maan had Karan in this life as his cousin.

Why can't you just answer my calls Maan Khurana? There was a loud voice that erupted as soon as he picked up the call.

Hey.. you are going to damage my ear drums at this rate.. Maan said irritated.. he was having some hallucinations now too. His instincts were telling him that this life of his was definitely interwined with his previous one. As he is recognising the people in his dreams he could see them infront of them. Just like Karan who was actually his half brother if he was Arjun.

The brother who had adopted Arjun's and vaidehi's child was his youngest brother Vicky who was Arjun's estranged brother and one thing that was different or changed for better was his relationship with his parents. While the motherly love that arjun received from one of the court ladies was now his mother and his dynamics with his father was different too.

The things were indicating that he was Arjun and there must be some reason why he was at the receiving end of those dreams which are nothing but energy draining for him.

While Maan was contemplating things he was still on the call with Karan and Karan asked him what he had thought to be a mistake.

Hey.. Maan are you listening?

Karan asked as he found the other side absolutely silent.

Yes.. I am here and don't shout.. he said in a simple manner this time and Karan reminded him to visit the museum that Khurana's have taken for the renovation and had invested a huge sum. The only person who was against it was Maan and his father was the one who gave the entire responsibility to Maan to oversee the things.

Listen.. the new excavations and some stuff of the twelfth century has been brought. There will be some researchers and a curator who will explain you. I am sending you the list of the things which have arrived. Our team have already completed two wings and they need to be set up for the exhibition. So you go and see the things... As Karan was instructing , the only thing that Maan could think was how to get answer of his dreams.

If everything that I am recalling is true and Arjun was really a emperor then there must be some documents. I can find more about him and his life.. Maan thought.

Listen there are some paintings that are needed for the exhibition of the king Dhananjay make sure that they are not misplaced. Karan said..

Dhananjay ? Maan enquired not really knowing if any king with this name existed.

I mean Samrat Arjun Singh ranawat who is known to known to have very beautiful queen Nainatara. Dhananjay was his real name, the name given to him when he was born but his adoptive parents changed it to Arjun. Karan's clarification made Maan to have suddenly feel restless.

Arjun really existed.. he was feeling really queezy and wanted to run see if the remains were something he could recognise. And Nainatara who was she.. all Maan knew that Arjun had one wife whom he loved , it was vaidehi.. but Nainatara..

Did he married Nainatara too? Was it the reason that vaidehi left..? And their daughter was brought up by his brother..

For that moment Maan wanted nothing but curse arjun for his choices..

He traced the glass which was now protecting the sword that was once in his possession. He still couldn't count how many people were put to death by this speed. Once he had killed an entire temple of people who could have been the threat to his birth mother. Maan traced the details which were written clearly. Arjun was the emperor who was responsible for making the kingdom United from north to east, from the extreme frontiers of the eastern Part of present India to the western part till some parts of the hindukush.

Maan traced the lineage of Arjun.. he had two sons.. there was no trace of having any daughter. He had married only once as per history and his queen was Nainatara Devi.

As Maan was recognising the memories of his past. He could easily visualize the stills infront of his eyes. His face having traces of blood. His anger over his father and mother. His yearning for the parental love. The portrait of queen Nainatara made the pain that was deeply ebbed inside him to pour out.

How could he forget that he had granted vaidehi's wish to leave him.. in the history he was only married once. But it was actually the second time that he thought would be a revenge on his wife but he didn't knew that he would be dwelling in the self hatred himself.

Maan was so lost in the past that he first didn't heard the sobs the loud voice that was coming. As he was mourning for his lost love, he couldn't think that someone else was also crying over their lost love.

I lost you.. I lost you.. I am sorry.. I am sorry.. her voice was so soft and it was a reminder of the past to Maan.

He went towards the person who was crying and kneeled down and saw that a girl was holding her dupatta in her hands and she was crying.

I am sorry..

As Maan was about to touch her hand to divert her attention, she herself looked at him and all he could see was the same brown eyes which have been haunting him all his life now.
