Her utter lack of concern towards her own family especially her mother is one of the biggest reasons why Prerna as a character isn't liked or sympathised with.Idk if I can name other serials or not bt this character played by Ankita Lokhande (this is just for reference pls no discussions on this) on this popular bt show usually used to meekly tolerate every insult thrown at her but the moment someone tried to insult her mom(at least from the time i started watching it) she would become a lioness!This was one of the reasons why I could stomach some of the illogical things she did on the show.But here Prerna OMG!!! With every passing day she is losing every admirable quality of hers.Sensitivity and empathy are definitely not her characteristics.I mean at the end of the NB track when Mohini was berating Veena, at least she spoke up.But these days, she's just so oblivious to it.

I know even Anurag is ignorant towards his mom and everything, but Mohini is never at the receiving end of those awful insults.Which girl who claims to love her family more than herself will act the way Prerna does?If the show is losing its popularity it's bcoz of the weakly written characters which seems to be getting weaker everyday(Nivi in the precap😒)
