This. THIS IS THE ROSHNI,Ayaana the warrior princess deserves. If Fariste ka Dil had to have someone representing it was today's Roshni.
Every single detail about her today spoke volumes about the kind of person she is.
We've all discussed why Roshni had not spoken up about being forcefully married,about being thrown out,about being degraded by Parveen,by Aman and yet she stayed back because of their connection.
Aman has done as much wrong to Roshni as Roshni had done to Aman in his head..yet herein lies the biggest difference : She CHOSE to see his GOOD side over the extremely problematic one while he CHOSE to believe her seemingly problematic side rather than all the GOOD she has done.
This is so ironic because it's Aman who needed her. He should have believed in their connection more than a complete stranger like Roshni. But then hererin comes his other side..his childhood side makes him bitter,with trust issues-having grown up with the thought of having his childhood and father taken away because of an other woman,he can't see any good in her nomatter what.
While inspite of everything,Roshni just sees the good in people. In Parveen,in Aman,in everyone.
Roshni's dialogues today : just one heartbreakingly plea..to TRUST HER. And their connection. NOT THE SOCIETAL ONE. Not about them being husband and wife- she was talking about the one that makes Aman say 'Meri zindagi Ayaana ka diya hua Karz hain Tabeezi'..the one where they are supposed to be each other's salvation.. the one where they have laid down their lives for each other without a single thought. That connection.
The way she wanted him to CHOSE that Roshni. Aman is neck deep in his prejudices but he knew what exactly what she was talking about and yet denied her. He's gonna suffer for it cause thats his destiny. Aman can't deny his destiny.
So many tiny details today :
The utter hollow in their family when Saima leaves. The way Aman waits till everyone is asleep to go back to his room and break down his feelings and thoughts. He cant not be strong- he's the father figure to his sisters and the eldest son-he robotically does everything,muting all his feelings till everything is done. The way he hugs them but without even the slight confidence from before
He's broken inside because somewhere his heart conflicts with everything : all the proof in the world won't be able to displace Roshni from his heart.
Aman needed this. Roshni is so far ahead in their relationship- she has implicit trust in him over everything else. He needs to catch up with her. He needs to let go of his prejudices and his childhood trauma to embrace Roshni just how she is. Nachnewali ki beti ho ya na ho.
If Roshni can accept Aman even though he's half Jinn,then Aman needs to accept her as well. Just like she is. Without trying to change a thing. Without his childhood trauma. Their love cannot be conditional from Aman's side.
Bonus :
We get a glimpse of what Aman thinks of his father's affair. He says his Abbu got taken away from them by the other woman. He might be blind here like Parveen blaming just the woman but still,lets hope he doesn't think only the woman was at fault.
The sisters finally speak. Good. Better late than never.
SALMA. Uff the only person with a backbone in this show is incidentally the one who's supposed to be of dubious character. Love her or hate her, question her motives of why she's helping Roshni, but she's the voice Roshni never had. A straight up confrontation with the man who threw her daughter out! WE LOVE! The way Aman's face changes when she mentions 'mohabbat' and he still can't believe it hence more questions.
I hope Aman keeps trying to deny his mistake by questioning again and again,and in turn gets all the answers he needs.
He needs this so badly. The lies had stacked up too heavily. Its time for the house of cards to come down.
ADITI- She was so good today! The difference between the Roshni pretending to be something else infront of the world and the Roshni who just pleaded for a little trust from her husband. Aditi was brilliant today!
IN ALL, A GREAT EPISODE AFTER A WHILE. I think things should wrap up this week only - the MU would I guess. The reunion may happen next week. BUT IDC. Finally this stupid lie is gonna die! That's she wasn't trying to the other woman. I hate that lie!
