Second point those who wear sindoor during the day they wear it at night also. I mean unless one washes their hair sindoor stays put.

My point is, it is unrealistic to show her dressed like this in today's times esp as a TV actress who is on the move all the time. The sari is hardly the most practical garment to wear in such a profession and especially since she is wearing it all the time on the show, it is very difficult to believe that she wants to wear it all the time off set also. Also the fact that she was shown wearing casuals before marriage - Indian and western - makes it natural that she would continue to dress like that after marriage too. My question is, why do Indian tv serials equate marriage with all these symbols of marriage like sari, MS and sindoor? Why must the FL immediately switch to this look after marriage ? she is supposed to be 28 in the serial, a tv actress in bombay. I live in Bombay, there are 2-3 actresses living in my building married and unmarried and I have never seen even the married ones dress like this. I dislike this concept of 'you're married so now you have to dress a certain way." Tv serials endorse this view.

It is Ajit

Cause some days ago Paras (actor playing Ajit) posted a story on his IG with Aakaash in the car during night shoot

This is going big. If Pooja is indeed in that car, then that will go down as Sona’s third mistake in a row. Now I am scared as hell.

I knew Tapasya would create trouble after Rohit's treatment of her.

Precap- pooja won't be in sona s car since that would be to distract media,

Arey, waah! Suman slapped Pari?!

Frankly pooja needs another slap or some sensible talk with someone who is not a Sippy to realise she is thinking all wrong about the situation she is in.

I thought Sona will be that person but looks like she won't be . May be it will be pulkit

I really had high hopes for the PooKit ship to sail during the adoption unveiling drama. Abhi tak kuch nahi hua. Bechara Pulkit sirf Suman ka punching bag banke reh gaya hain. Ab yoh uska promotion karke use apne khudke scenes de do, CVs!

My issue is with stereotyping it either way. I agree to the fact that gone are the days when marriage meant saris for women specially in mid tier towns of India (marwari families specially). ITV does needs to show it that way. Yet again there are many professions where sari is a uniform. For example embassies. What may not be practical for some could be comfortable for others. I for one is as comfortable in a saree as in a pant suit or jeans and wear them both by choice all the time. For many a saree is as natural as any other dress. Lawyers, doctors and many other professionals wear sarees all the time. It is as practical as it can get. My only point was to put forth the fact that comfort and style is matter of personal choice rather than a generalized norm on either side of the scale. I am not trying to contradict you or to create a tug of war here and hence I will rest my case with this point. ❤️

No issues. Everyone has their own view😊 I agree many women are comfortable in saris the whole day long too. But because Sona was shown as wearing casuals before marriage, this total switch to saris is irking me. They could have shown her in a mix of clothes - sometimes western, sometimes kurtas, sometimes saris. That to me is a truer portayal of an urban working woman especially one in the TV industry. As things stand, it looks like a uniform or a template. We cannot argue that she is only comfortable in saris as we have seen her in other clothes too. So my point is the only reason she is exclusively in saris now is because she is married. I know they gave an explanation by giving her that dialogue of how she wants to be a bahu etc. But to me it was very unconvincing given her age, her setting and her profession.
