That's an Android app introduced by central government to call the emergency services when in an emergency . Once we install the app and provide our details ,it remains active on our smartphone and there is an option to press the panic button and we will have the necessary support arriving to our location based on GpS .

Yesterday in parliament or in some notification also the MHA spoke about it. It's still in initial stages apparently and more feature updates are expected to come in future.

Not sure if there is an apple store version or not .
