Reading your reviews about Broken but Beautiful. Wondering whether I should watch. But I don’t have Alt Balaji subscription. Am not sure whether it’s worth getting one. Pehle with just Netflix and then Prime it was easier but ab sabke apne apne streaming platforms hai. Can’t subscribe to all. 🤔

About Veer....what was so endearing from season 1 only was the way he grew so protective of Sam even when he was so fed up of her Kartik obsession.....like his reaction when he finds her passed out in the closet says so much, even though he was otherwise trying to avoid her at that time and considered her a pile on😆

And then yes, the wine cellar scene from season 1 as you mentioned.....one of the themes from season 1 that they did really well was the way Sam ultimately learnt to breathe again through Veer....he brought her out of that physical as well as mental claustrophobia. The way he got her to breathe in that scene, and then she listened as he again spoke of the guilt he lives with about feeling like he's responsible for a death already.... and ultimately the way scene shifted into exploring their attraction towards each other.

Another bit I liked a lot in season 1 was the way Sam would watch him whenever he talked about Alina....that head tilted on the side expression as she'd watch him talk.....and Veer wouldn't even realize when he started talking about all his thoughts on Alina so candidly with Sam.....she'd always listen to him patiently, without judgement. Somehow their bonding never felt cliched despite the story feeling cliched on paper.

Season 2 mein bhi that scene after the pool incident when Veer tells her he couldn't help himself from pulling her out of the pool cuz he saw how uncomfortable she was and he got a sense of her wanting to drown, so he got scared......."Tumhein kuch hota hai, toh mujhe bahut kuch hota hai" waala bit.....again, Vikrant acted so well in this scene.....like there's just too many scenes to list of his performance in both the seasons.....he aced all shades of Veer. Despite all the mess, you can feel that one basic strain running through both seasons.....Veer can't help himself from trying to protect Sameera....she seems to bring out his protective instinct like no other.....and ultimately that instinct morphed into love.

now that you mentioned it i just had to gif it:) i loved this scene too that honesty se confess karna and explaining to her that she out of all people is th eonly one who could actually understand this feeling the way he mentioned how she was the blanket wrapped around him despite him resisting her all the time aww:) and then the Forehead kiss awww man full of feel. ☺️

Re: Shivika deja vu 😂😂. Well Vik ki height and beard is bound to be reminiscent of Shivaay. And the protective instinct too I guess. Haha but the resemblance ends there. Vik is a far superior actor than NM obviously 😆

Lol I also mainly paid more attention cuz I was trying to find scenes I wanted to gif 😆

But yes, does seem like they deleted some scenes or maybe that was an imagination sequence of Sam where she imagined Veer and Arhan getting into a fight. Cuz there are other scenes of her in the same outfit with Veer with her arm linked to his and they are smiling. So maybe it was like that dream sequence of Veer where he imagined a whole happy life with Sam.

I still can’t figure out the context of the broken bowl piece though 🤔. They showed that bit in the title montage before every epi too and I kept waiting for it, but it never came 🤷‍♀️😂
